My mom and I loved this place when I was growing up. I had to come here to celebrate her birthday in her memory. I had a great time. The waitress was so sweet she bought me a dessert to celebrate, Her name was Faith; which was so fitting for the day. I ordered from the steam pot selection and it was delicious. I was slightly disappointed that the shrimp were still in the shell and I had to also devain it. It would be so much better if it were ready to go and marinating in the sauce. Other than that everything was delicious, I was so happy to have been able to enjoy coming here for my mom. Thank you so much faith for being a wonderful person!!!

We came in for lunch and we’re the only ones there for a long time. Their soda machine was broken and the crab legs didn’t have a ton of meat. We mentioned it to our server and she got us another complimentary basket of legs and also gave us a small discount on our bill. Overall we had a decent time.

My parents love seafood so we decided to try out Joe’s Crab Shack. I had the East Coast Platter which gave a great sampling of the different seafood options they have to offer. Yes it was not cheap but the experience was great. This was the second time we’ve been here and both times we tried different plates and were left satisfied.

Service was slow the day we went, there were only 2 servers. Our server was amazing and tentive even if she was overwhelmed. We had the cajun pot and it did not disappoint. The snow crab was succulent. The shrimp was perfectly cooked. The sausage was spicy and was perfect with the seafood. The double pot works for two people unless you’re really hungry then I’d get my own double pot. The kids pot was big for the cost. Overall very happy with food and service.

My mom wanted seafood for her birthday lunch, so we took her to Joe’s Crab Shack in Westminster. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. Since it was lunch, the restaurant was virtually empty and yet it took our server a long time to come get our drink order. It took another 5-6 to get our three waters and when the server asked if we were ready to order we said yes. She said she’d be right back, but it took ten minutes for that to happen. Then she wrote down my mom’s order incorrectly so the food that was delivered was incorrect and had to go back to the kitchen, which then took another long time before her food came out. Once we had everything, it tasted good but by that time we were all annoyed. I could see how it could happen if they were really busy, but the server had one other table. I had a bad experience at this location before, so this is the last time I’ll be going there. I’ve eaten at other Joe’s in Colorado and elsewhere and never had a problem!

This place has delicious food! We got the captains platter which is a variety of fishy goodness. However if your wanting crab then I recommend getting the buckets or steam pots! The prices are high so be expecting to drop some dough. Worth every penny!

Flavor and service is good but I don’t see how this is worth the money. I got a baby crab… was barley able to get any meat. This size crab shouldn’t even be consider serving. I see that it gets weigh out but really all the weight was in the shell and not meat. Very disappointing.

Had an awesome experience with my family at this place. Jason, out waiter was patient, personable, and had a solid knowledge of the menu. The food was very good. My kids for full on the appetizers. Definitely will bring my family back!
