We stopped by Joe’s Crab Shack because my daughter had a birthday request for crab legs, and Joe’s was right along our route. I’m glad we did! They delivered exactly what we were hoping for a good birthday dinner. The crab legs were satisfying, the atmosphere was fun and family friendly, and the staff went the extra mile by singing a birthday song for my daughter, which really made her day special. It was a simple stop that turned into a memorable celebration. We appreciated the hospitality and the effort to make her birthday feel celebrated.

We had an early dinner at Joe’s on a Saturday. It was nice to show up and not have to wait long for our food. We ordered the Atlantic boil with garlic. We received our garlic bread with marinara sauce first. They were very good and we will definitely be ordering more in the future. We received friendly service from the staff. My husband and I dined in on Valentine’s Day. It was packed! But that didn’t stop our server, Jaden, from being very attentive and so polite. He suggested delicious add ons to our meal that I’ve never had at Joe’s before….the shrimp scampi and crab cake. They were both sooo good but I especially enjoyed that the crab cake didn’t taste like filler. Delicious crab that you could see abd taste. My husband ordered the Crab Daddy Feast and I ordered the Bayou Fried BBQ Crab (I think that’s what it was called) but both our meals were some of the best crab that we’ve had. Full plates and meaty crab legs! The manager, I think his name was Landers? I’m sorry, I forget…but he stopped by to check on us and he was very nice. You could tell he was making sure the whole restaurant was running smoothly. We will definitely be back to this location and will be asking for Jaden!

Yes, a full-on play space that turns dinner into a win for the whole crew. We grab a table on the patio, order food, and let the kids go run wild. We can see them from where we sit, so while they climb and giggle like the feral little angels they are, we get to sip our drinks and have a real, adult meal. A unicorn experience.
The food comes out fast, hot, and just what you’d expect—reliable seafood favorites, nothing too fancy, but hits the spot. The drinks are strong enough to make the chaos a little funnier, and the setup makes it one of the few places where I feel like everyone—grown-ups and kids—gets to win.

I took my family to Joe’s Crab Shack for dinner, and this was hands-down one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. We waited 30 minutes after being seated, and during that time three different servers walked past us repeatedly without so much as a greeting, a “hey, someone will be with”, or even eye contact. We were completely overlooked while other tables who arrived after us were helped immediately.
It was frustrating, embarrassing, and honestly just unprofessional. After half an hour of being ignored, we ended up leaving without ever being served. If this is the level of service they consider acceptable, we won’t be returning.

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!!! We came here tonight for my kids birthday party. She’s quite shy but we still wanted to have the goofy birthday experience that we had growing up (coming to Joe’s Crab shack for birthday celebrations has become a tradition in our family). Well, they sure did it! Our server, Jose, was amazing, friendly, checked on us often, made sure we had what we needed, and answered all our questions with a smile. He made us feel super welcome and well taken care of. I wish we could have tipped him more. Then a whole bunch of crew members came out to do the birthday celebration with our kid, who was thoroughly entertained & embarrassed, as we had wanted, haha. And the food was stellar, which has always been the case in the past when we came here so I expected nothing less. Overall this was a fantastic pending to an important birthday and left our whole family feeling wonderful. 10/10, highly recommend, and thank you so much to Jose and the amazing crew of this Joe’s Crab Shack!
Sidenote: Every time we go here we always get the Great Balls of Fire, the painted crab dessert and the “Shark Nibble” drink, all of which are 100% worth getting every time. The dessert and the drink are a huge crowd pleaser with the kids. They’re super cute and fun, very affordably priced, and something we personally haven’t seen at any other restaurant.

I haven’t hadnt eaten at Joe’s in a very long time. But was excited when we saw one on our adventure to Ft Worth.
Guys it didn’t disappoint. The flavor of the crab was delicious. Service was speedy. I really enjoyed the manager. He came by just to check on us. We ending up having a great time . Chris helped us relive our memories of the Joes in Dallas. Good times. I planning to go back real soon.
