This was my first go ‘round with Joe’s. I got the fried chicken and maple bacon…I think? A solid piece of chicken breast in between a waffle. It was very good. Cool music memorabilia on the walls, but the feeling inside and the customer service just felt very direct and cold. A polite-cold. If that’s a thing.

Any place can sell you a bagel and it will probably be good but when you get it from a place that brings you back to the good old days and reminds you of the neighborhood you grew up in that speaks to your soul no matter where you grew up, it’s the quintessential hometown bagel spotvery laid-back atmosphere great people great food. Second time in a year eating at this place and it’s been good twice..I got the tidal wave which is awesome…however the bagel lox that my wife got was a little lackluster it’s missing onion and tomato at least and maybe some capers …..the cold brew coffee is good and the ice coffee too the staff is always nice……
