Brunch at Joe’s Pub in Schulenburg was an absolute fire!!! I ordered the Bananas Foster French Toast and honestly… no notes. It was fluffy, sweet, perfectly cooked, and straight-up elite. Like, first bite had me thinking about my next visit already.
The service? Top tier. Super friendly, attentive without hovering, and just good vibes all around. You can tell they actually care, which is rare these days and definitely appreciated.
If you’re looking for a brunch spot that understands the assignment, Joe’s Pub is it. Great food, great service, chill atmosphere — 10/10, would absolutely recommend. This place ate (literally) and left no crumbs.

Have been coming here for a while. Always tip very well, never complain about anything, but my last visit will be my very last. Place is pretty overpriced already, but last visit the keg ran out and I offered to take a different draft as the bartender was struggling. However, I was given about 1/2 beer with foam from the keg that ran out and was charged 8.00 for that. Completely unacceptable and inappropriate way to treat loyal patrons. Will never go back there under any circumstance. Way to lose a customer that comes usually 2 times a week.

Walked in at about 7:30pm, got seated almost immediately, ordered drinks and food, then proceeded to wait 45 minutes for our appetizer to arrive cold. Our main dishes arrived 5 minutes after also cold. For almost an hour wait the food was not worth it. On top of the food was the unholy noise of the place, it wasn’t packed by any means but the few families in there made it almost impossible to hear anything. We left almost 2 hours after walking in, incredibly disappointed. We may not be locals, but I wouldn’t recommend anyone going out of their way for Joe’s

Atmosphere is great, but the service and food are horrid. Got greeted and seated right away…then we sat for 40 minutes, and were walked passed by all 8 employees without even being acknowledged. It was too late to go to any other restaurant. Not a single server, host, cook or manager even looked at us, let alone acknowledged us and told us they’d be with us as soon as possible. The place wasn’t busy and tables were empty. Guess that should have been our sign.
After finally getting acknowledged and ordering, the food came out cold, burgers were greasy and loose, and honestly just inedible. And for the price of things here? Unacceptable.
We wanted this place to be great because the vibe is amazing, the menu has potential, but the execution and service and just horrible. It’s hard to support local small business when an experience is like this. Just awful.

Ended up stranded here with mechanical issues on not the best day ever. The service is on point and the food is amazing! Go ahead, get the fries with queso, A-MAZE-ING! Burgers are awesome! Service is outstanding also! Very clean! And I’m so full right now.

Great atmosphere, great service, great drinks celebrated here for Mother’s Day. Ashlyn was our server and she was so sweet and awesome. She educated us on the history of the town and the two restaurants. Our recommendations are the wings and the Dirty Burger, and the lavender lemon drop was so good! Thank you again.

Stopped here for lunch while on a road trip. I had the elite salad with chicken and my husband had the buffalo chicken flat bread. Both were yummy. We also had the Brussels sprouts appetizer which is a must have!

First experience. The place was not very busy, but it was early for dinner. The food was delicious. I had the build your own burger, and my partner had a spicy chicken wrap. The roasted brussel sprouts were a hit. Very flavorful! Smash burger was good. The wrap had added grilled jalepenos, which “made the sandwich,” according to my partner.

I had a great experience here. It has the friendliness and courtesy of a small town restaurant with a more sophisticated menu. The brussel sprouts were by far the best I’ve ever had. They were even willing to leave off an ingredient for my diet. Will definitely eat here again when I return to the town.

First experience was great! So glad there’s a new venue in the area. Bartender was friendly and attentive. Only had the Brussel sprouts but they were fantastic. Lots of TV’s and they accommodated our request to put on tennis. Will definitely return!!
