I’ve never seen pale bulgogi in my life, and I hope to never see it again. Bland. No flavor at all. Expensive. The side item literally came in a tiny condiment cup and was half full. Cost $19.79 after tax with no tip, no drink. Really just zero reason to go back, especially at that price. The sushi buffet down the road is $22. That’s a much better meal and value.

Their Korean food isn’t authentic and is for people who have never tasted Korean food before.
I’m Korean and I can tell.
Like I ordered jjampong and they put kimchi in it. Like what…?
I’ve order at least three dishes from here bc I was craving for Korean food so long but I haven’t satisfied with any of their dish.
Spicy galbitang was okay at least.
Jjampong and kimchi jjigae aren’t right taste for me.

The food was excellent. I got the hotpot bibimbob it was solid portions. Came with sides. For the price of $14.99 it was a very fair price for the quality and portions. The place deserves a higher rating. That’s why I feel it needs to be 4.9 spot.

The food was just Meh!!
Let me start by saying I am not Korean, don’t know Korean language but have been to Korea.
In my visits to Korea, I have had wonderful, flavorful and amazing spicy food.
When I ordered the spicy Soft Tofu stew with sea food, I asked several times how the stew was made. The cashier did not know or did not want to talk to me in English. He plopped a frozen seafood packet with Shrimp, mussels and other items. I should not have ordered but I made the mistake of taking the chance thinking, how bad could it be. I was excited and eagerly waited for 20 mins.
The stew was just unseasoned, boiled frozen seafood with no shrimp or mussels in a red colored broth with no seasoning, no spicy and just plain red colored sewage water.
Not again will I visit this place!!

This is the best restaurant you will ever find! The people who work there are so amazing and kind! The food is beyond amazing and very high quality, and the portions are great for the price. I love it here and will continue to come here regularly.

Craving some Korean food. Joen Korean Restaurant was the right place! Inside the Lotte Plaza Market food court, I ordered the #13 Yuk gae jang. It was a spicy soup with beef, egg, bean sprouts, green onion, mushrooms, & glass noodles. For about $15 it came with a side of rice that l thought could serve 2 people plus the banchan sides.
After ordering I got a little buzzer to notify me when my order was ready. The soup was tasty and filling! Spiciness level was good, not overpowering or too light. Great value and yummy food!

We got the beef bulgogi. It was really delicious!! We of course got a bubble tea each from the nearby tea shop and ate our food in the sitting area. A great experience, we will go again.

I’ve had the bibimbap in a stone bowl several times, and never been disappointed. Today I left something out of our order and they went the extra mile to take care of us. Great food and excellent service!

Bulgogi was flavorless and pale, looked nothing like the photo. I asked to exchange and was told “well no one’s ever complained”.

I’ve been here multiple times and have always gotten the yukgaejang, it’s always been really good and the rice well cooked! My only suggestion is if the yukgaejang had gosari it would be perfect
