I’ve been going to area Joella’s for quite a few years now and it’s my favorite of the chicken-only/focused fast-food restaurants – we’re lucky to have a couple in the Carmel/Westfield area. When I first started going, they didn’t have wings and I’m not sure when they snuck those onto the menu. Well, it was my first time trying them (Ghost Pepper, extra crispy) and they were fantastic. I’m still not a fan of the extra sugar that literally everyone uses when trying to do “Nashville Hot”, but I felt it wasn’t as pronounced this time. The chicken is always juicy and flavorful, and now I can honestly recommend the wings as well.

I love this place! I only get down to Carmel once in awhile, and this has been one of my favorite quick eats. I signed up for the rewards, and got a buy one get one deal on the jumbo tenders. Well, they were anything but jumbo, and hardly seasoned. I sure hope you don’t have different size tenders for when people use coupons. We have ordered them before, and I feel like maybe you do. I will be back, but there are plenty of options in the area.

First time trying here. Server was friendly and said to ask him any questions. I got the tenders while my wife got the thighs. I looked at the menu before going but didn’t realize the thighs were boneless till at the location. We both got hot as the spice level and fries as the side. The tenders and thighs were both juicy, big sized and the seasoning was perfect. Wife is Filipino and I’m Cajun so we could have went one notch higher on the spice level but hot was great. My wife usually doesn’t eat much fries but she knocked down the shoestrings. One thing that impressed me was when the server Tyler wasn’t helping new customers, he went clean the glass on the doors. For me there’s nothing more off-putting than greasy handprint glass doors. Props to you young man. Hopefully managers and owners notice that. Overall 5 stars from both of us. We’ll be back.

I came in late at night, there was plenty of parking. The chicken tenders were seasoned to perfection and so were the parm fries. My server Kyle was welcoming and guided me through the menu in detail. Hope he gets the recognition for that. 10/10 Will be back
