This place has been in business for 18 years and has phenomenal quality seafood incredible taste it is definitely a must stop and the fried rice is the best fried rice I’ve ever had and I’ve had it for the last 30 years elsewhere Joe is the best in the metroplex their crawfish and every part of their seafood menu is fresh it is incredible. Try it out for yourself and always remember supporting family owned. Businesses are always needing great support especially when the food is so damn good.

My bf and I came here not for the Cajun dishes but for fish cake udon. A friend of mine recommended this place as one of the best fish cake udon aka Bánh canh chả cá in the area. We was skeptical at first but went check it out anyway. We wasn’t disappointed. This place serves Central Vietnam style fish cake udon with wheat flour instead of tapioca flour. The broth was flavorful yet not too sweet which I really like. The fish cake was the jam that wasn’t very fishy but still tasty. The price though was a little bit higher compared to other nearby Vietnamese restaurants. I’ll come back and try other dishes anyway.

It was a decent experience. I didn’t know it was an establishment that you could bring your own alcoholic beverage. The seafood and fried rice was good and seasoned good. I wouldn’t order their chicken nuggets and fries though for the kids bc it didn’t taste good.

Hands down one of my favorite crawfish spots in the DFW! Been going here for 15+ years & you can’t complain about the service, food & friendly/home-y environment. Every time crawfish season rolls around, me & my family HAVE TO pull up to see what they’ve brought in for that year. Definitely recommend their Banh Canh Cua Cha Ca (Udon Noodle Soup w/ Crab Meat & Fish Ball & of course, Crawfish Fried Rice. Lastly, Crawfish (deal: Buy 5 Lb, get 1Lb free) w/ the Whole Shebang Sauce. We sometimes jump between medium & spicy but if you want the spice to simmer, medium is the way & never regular because why???

Always consistent. Extra spicy garlic butter is my go-to. If you get the fried rice, the CF tops it all. Make sure to tell them not to skimp on the fish sauce in the fried rice. There you go…secrets out!

Great, flavorful food & reasonably priced: $8-$13 for a pound of various types of seafood. The Cajun fries were only seasoned on the top so the rest were sort of dry, but the sweet potato fries were good. My friend ordered spicy crab legs & they weren’t as spicy as she wanted, so if you’re into spicy it’d probably be best to order extra spicy. The restaurant wasn’t overly crowded for a Friday night which was nice. It goes without saying that one should expect to get messy at a crab shack, so I would recommend this place for a casual night out or an after work get together.
