I don’t make many reviews, or any at all really but, if it weren’t for the delicious Philly cheese steak sub, this place would be a one star. For just over $50 You can expect your delivery to come really late even when you order using a system where you get to select your delivery time and when it gets to you, it’ll have a quarter of the pizza toppings slid off the pizza. Probably because there’s enough grease in the recipe/ingredients to fry a whole separate batch of their chicken wings. Then, you can expect the grease to escape the box on to your carpet as you walk from the door to the kitchen. Let the pictures tell the story. There’s enough grease to soak the box it comes in! The delivery driver…she was really nice and apologetic for the delay.

Boneless wings are the best around, garlic pizza top notch. Cheese pizza is decent. Fried dough bites are good but could use like a dipping sauce, my only complaint was that when we ate it I never got given my tables invoice just gave them card and paid so couldn’t verify that everything was correct on bill. The bar area looks fantastic!

The service was genuinely awful, mainly due to an older woman working there who was rude, dismissive, and made the experience uncomfortable. The food is very inconsistent — sometimes it’s good, other times it’s disappointing — which makes it hard to rely on. That said, the place itself is decent and has potential if the service and food quality were more consistent.

Dont really leave reviews usally but i ordered over 100$ worth of food yesterday and and my husband choked on a couple pretty big pieces of wood that were INSIDE his calzone, and we were not pleased. Food was cold by the time it got here and the poor delivery boy was so flustered i gave him a 10 dollar tip anyway. We used about 20 napkins to soak up grease from cheese bread, which was still greasy. Recieved no blue cheese for an order of 20 wings, which i asked for blue cheese (dont usually have to ask because any other place blue cheese comes with wings lol) we also asked for blue cheese for our chicken tenders so we could have extra and we didnt get that either. Ordered 3 calzones only one came with sauce. And one calzone my husband bit into, choked on wood. TWO pieces of wood were inside his calzone. Looks like from a cutting board because they were INSIDE the calzone not under it. Posted the pics. Saved the wood in a sandwhich bag in case they want the evidence after they read this lol! Not off to a good start joas.

We went to Joas for my daughter’s 6th birthday because she wanted chicken wings there was about 15 of us and it turned out great Mel was our waitress and she was great the food was great and great prices

It saddens me to have to give Joa’s by the Bay a bad review but this is the second time in a row that our calzones and now pizzas was burnt. I did call asked to speak with management and got called a liar I informed him I had pictures if he would like to see them he said he was leaving a note for Management and I haven’t heard back from them. Plus my Hawaiian pizza was missing the ham altogether and very little pineapple basically I paid for a specialty pizza and got cheese pizza. Very Upset.

Staff is really nice here and are accommodating for big groups, however the food did not taste as good as it looked. Boneless wings are pretty dry inside even though they’re swimming in sauce and I would recommend the regular ones only here as those were much better. The pizza is difficult to eat as the cheese falls off as you pick up each slice and you basically have to eat the crust separately. The restaurant itself is rather cold despite the several space heaters around, so takeout is your best bet here.
