I had to complete a video call prior to my running in to place a to go order. A lady came knocking on my window, basically said I was loitering and forced me to leave. I did not place my order, nor will I ever attempt to again. I travel between Zephyrhills and plant city often. Never again will I stop there, the rudeness and knocking on my window like I was casing the place was completely uncalled for.

We are fairly new to Hillsborough County. We have driven by this little restaurant several times and it was always closed by the time we finished with our nature walks. We stopped by today after we saw they were open. It was not super busy but had a good amount of people inside. As we entered the restaurant, the older lady behind the counter looked absolutely terrified with our presence. I asked if we seat ourselves and she very loudly, rudely and animated, stated yes, normally however she was closing in 20 minutes because she has a Doctors appt. I feel that she would have declined us service even if she wasn’t “closing”. She forged toward us as we told her we would not have known that being we had never been there before. She gave off the vibe of “no minorities allowed” and didn’t have the courage to be racist to our faces. She immediately closed and locked the door behind us. It’s sad, because more and more mom and pop places are struggling to stay open and I’m losing faith in humanity.
