Great experience at Joanna La Michoacana Taqueria! Located in Benton Harbor, these goodies were very good and I love the taste of the food, atmosphere, and service. I appreciated them offering ice cream and great dessert.
Joanna La Michoacana Taqueria food appears authentic, and the culture is awesome. I remember them as a food truck, and now the restaurant has expanded into a full-service, giving great food and sweet goodies. Good food!
The service was good! I appreciated the table service, explanation of the menu, and the fast service of the delicious food.
The atmosphere was awesome! I love the different pictures on the wall in the restaurant and bathroom, the culture and vibe, and different colors. The cleaningness of the restaurant was great!

The staff are always friendly and helpful. The mangonada was good. Will definitely try it with other flavors. Always love the Mexican al pastor tacos.

First visit. Nice spot, they a few booths and tables for dine in. Ordered birria, steak and tongue tacos. All were flavorful. Birria is not my favorite but this one was good. The machete was also very flavorful. Ordered the lime cucumber drink and it was amazingly refreshing and deliciously sweet. The lime did not overpower the cucumber flavor. They let you taste them before you order. I tasted the strawberry and it was good as well. The mango and guayaba paletas “popsicles” are made in house and have chunks of fruit inside. Very refreshing, flavorful, not overly sweet and seems to get better with every bite. The Rompope was ok and the strawberry with tajin was good although we were suppose to get the mamey. Friendly service, they custom make some of the foods although it would take a bit longer of course. Reasonable prices. Fast service. Clean restroom. Highly recommend.

Their food is amazing. I ordered the Alpastor Burrito and two tripe tacos. It was very satisfiying. I also want to mention, they have the best Aguas Frescas in town. Highly recommended if youre passing through this town.

We were in town visiting our family when we popped in for lunch. I wish I had done more research first—it was last minute—but we still really enjoyed what we ordered. We had an asada Gordita, a carnitas Gordita, asada tacos, and an order of guac and chips.
The food was delicious—the guac and chips were out of this world. The chips were freshly made and served piping hot.
We also enjoyed one strawberry lime and cucumber agua fresca and a strawberry and cream one. Delicious!!
We stopped in again on our way home to treat our kids to some ice cream and to grab some guac and chips to go. So glad we did.
I only wish we had this closer to where we live. Stop in, you won’t be disappointed.

Delicious food! Stopped here on a road trip because it was close to an EV charger. The place was busy but the service was fast. Great value for the price. Burritos are humongous.

I stopped here while on a long-distance trip to charge my vehicle. This was a great find. I ordered three tacos and the small details, like the tortillas, were done to perfection. This will definitely be a regular stopping point for me whenever I travel through the area.
