Finally made it out to Joanie’s and it did not disappoint! The pizza was very good as well – thin with a crispy crust. However, I would dare say that the chicken tenders were better than the pizza. They’re on the large side (almost like cutlets) – perfectly crispy and tender! No dining area (just takeout) so that was the only downside. I wish Joanie’s was closer to me – if you live in the Lowell/Chelmsford area don’t sleep on this place!

Wow!! The BEST pizza around here. Hands down. We ordered the Elvis in Hawaii and The Truth. They really do uphold the NY style pizza. We’ve never tried eggplant on pizza before and we were really blown away from how tasty it was. The tomato sauce is not overwhelming sweet compared to other places which we appreciate. Crust had the perfect crunch to it.

Drove an hour for the much talked about pizza. It was good we had the Joanie roni and a meatball pizza. The sauce was good, the crust was solid, the overall flavor of the pepperoni was just okay. The meatball was fantastic. Guys behind the counter very nice and polite, the atmosphere or waiting area was kind of run down and no tables to enjoy a slice right there. Two pizzas, two sodas were $57 including tip and tax. I’m glad I checked it out, but will keep my pizza commute to 30 min for garlic breath and 10 min for Deleo’s in Merrimac.

I would of, by far this is the best pizza I had in the state of Massachusetts and I’ve been to all the top-notch elite places in the eastern part of the state from Worcester on metropolitan Boston North Shore.
I got the Joni’s pepperoni, pizza was nice and light Krispy, krunchy cooked perfectly. They slice the garlic razor thin just like Polly and Goodfellas..
Definitely the best pizza joint in Massachusetts.
Staff was great and helpful and don’t sleep on their chocolate chip cookies..

This is easily the best pizza I’ve had in Massachusetts. The crust was so thin and crispy and really delivered on taste. It’s been so hard to find good pizza, but this place was impressive. Unfortunately, we live 2 hours away so we won’t be getting it too often, but anytime we’re close by, we’ll be going.

One of the best pizza places in Massachusetts. So busy that they have been sold out of pizza multiple times. About 15 to 20 minute wait so you can explore other places in the area during that wait. Honey barbecue pizza is absolutely fantastic and I will definitely order from here again. If you live in Chelmsford or in neighboring towns, come to here, or the Dave’s Hot Chicken, or the smoke barbecue in the Chelmsford town center. Three of the best food places in Chelmsford!
