The pizza comes out looking real good but after the first piece I started noticing how the pizza was very chewy and when I bite into the crust it was dough still undone in it. Also with the garlic knots they seemed like they been sitting awhile and been reheated up. I’m disappointed!

I never miss a chance to stop in here. They are definitely the best pizza in Lynchburg. The staff is awesome and I love bringing others to eat here. Crusty rolls are a must have.

I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap with onion rings. The onion rings?? So soaked in oil that they were not able to be eaten. Layer of grease in the styrofoam container the onion rings came in. The grease tasted like it hadn’t been changed in at least 2 weeks. My wrap was made with lettuce that was obviously old and never should have found its way in to ANY wrap. The chicken tastes old, probably cooked in the same grease as the onion rings. What an absolute waste of my money. I won’t be stopping there again. Pics attached.

Great pizza in Lynchburg. Stopped at a great pizza joint near one of my digital billboards in Lynchburg, and had a couple of great slices. Definitely recommend this place to locals, and visitors.

I have found my go-to pizza joint in Lynchburg! Good spot when you want some good food. I had a small pepperoni and cheese, and my sister had a grilled chicken salad that looked good and was too much for her to finish. The pizza was excellent! Great balance of the right flavors, textures, and grease! Nothing better than that! Gonna go back and try a few different things for sure. Get a pie, or by the slice with a cold beer.

I ordered a meat lovers calzoned. The crust was perfectly browned and tasted great. As for the rest of it, not so much. As I was eating it I kept getting a bad taste. Some kind of cheese almost like ricotta cheese. I don’t like ricotta because of the texture. I also kept getting bites of the meat which the texture of it was mushy like fake meat. I opened up the calzone to look at the meat and what I guess would have been sausage was gross and had very little flavor again the texture was odd. The ham (I am guessing) looked odd and the texture again seemed off. Even the pepperoni didn’t seem quite right. I was getting mouthfuls of the cheese which to me seemed too much. It started becoming lumps of cheese in my mouth. I spit quite a bit of the filling onto my plate and just mainly ate the crust. I will never go there again for food after such a bad calzone. The great thing like I said was the crust and the frost mug of water to go with it. I loved the atmosphere and they have a pool table which would be nice to go play maybe enjoy a beer but not to eat unless it has no meat.

Jojo’s has been one of my go-to pizza spots for many years now. Solid NY style pizza. I’m knocking off one star because every now and then I’ll get a pie that’s too greasy. Not a big deal but I have to bring that point up.
Although it’s a little unorthodox their margherita pizza is fantastic. The chunks of garlic add a nice punch of flavor to set it off. Also the more recent addition of the Mob Boss puts them in the top position for the largest slices in the city. I had a slice that ran from my fingertips to my elbow haha

Fantastic hole-in-the-wall pizza joint. The calzone size was outrageous, stuffed full of excellent cheeses and the sweet chili wings were dope. Really hit the spot!
…But even beyond that, the staff was awesome. Everyone was warm, welcoming and friendly. And when I was leaving the staff offered to give me a ride back to my lodging when they learned I had walked there! They didn’t have to but did out of nowhere! How kind!!! Absolutely 5 stars just for that act of kindness. You don’t find that kind of thing anymore.
Thanks for making my first night in Lynchburg a special memory!
