Classic diner experience. Portions are generous and the coffee is fresh. Pancakes, omelettes and corn beef hash dishes are great. We visited on a busy Sunday before the peak late morning crowd.

My wife and I had our wedding rehearsal dinner here last month and we had a wonderful time! It was super easy and quick to work JJ’s tavern, the food was amazing, and the space was fantastic for the occasion. No one in our wedding party had eaten here before and the food was so good multiple people said they wanted to come back on their own for dinner. We couldn’t recommend this place any more!

Friendly owner John and server,Noreen reminded us of a family pub,comfortable and only odor is good food being cooked ( check out their specials) their nachos ,wings ,quesadillaand wraps are local favorites.We had their BLTA( avocado)on toasted sourdough with a dark and a pilsner…plenty of beer choices with even less than a pint size and martinis,(like Coffee Expresso ones)Accessible ,plenty of parking Outdoor back area could be good for small parties and children.If we lived closer we’d be playing pool upstairs ,KENO or bar games on the main level.We think the weekends must be busy as it’s within walking distance of many businesses.GO,you’ll love it,too,unless you’re an uppity type

Ordered the Grilled chicken salad and couple of sandwiches, all chicken. Extremely poor quality chicken, it was dry, dehydrated, and tasted stale. Not worth the effort, money and time. Sandwiches were mediocre.

The food is delicious! The Bold & Gold Wrap with crispy chicken is my favorite. The chicken tenders are also very good.
The only bad item was the onion rings- they had hardly any onion and were kinda burnt. Plus, it was a very small portion compared to the other menu items.
Other than that, everything else has been great!

My son and I got take out, and we both got a steak sub. He got fries, and I got chips. To my surprise the chips were homemade and fried. Delicious!!! I would absolutely recommend.

We had our wedding welcome party at JJs last year and we could not have been happier with the service and experience. We held it in their pavilion and between the private area, drinks, and food it was extremely reasonably priced. Not only good pricing but the service was above and beyond. We didn’t lift a finger and they completely took care of everything, even set up the dessert we brought. Everyone said they had the best time, corn hole was a big hit, and it was so great to relax and enjoy before the wedding day. Highly recommend for any event but especially a welcome party!
