Came in late November, grateful to find something open in the off season. Pleasantly surprised by the super friendly service, really good food & fantastic prices. We had the calamari, meatloaf, prime rib with scallops, and kids shared a bacon cheeseburger with fries. Generous servings and everything was very tasty. The blueberry margarita was yummy! Highly recommend this place.

Being a Fried Fish eating machine I ordered the Fish and chips and took it to go. After driving about 4 miles down the road I started to eat. The Fish had a “taste” that was not pleasurable. I called the manager and returned the order. Management was very polite and asked if I wanted another order. Even suggesting I try it before I leave this time and if I wasnt satisfied they would refund. I decided to wait having eaten here many, many times with no issue. Overall the food here is great just was not expecting this situation. They will still get my business anytime I am in the area.

Fun fact: You can comfortably skip every other restaurant in Old Orchard Beach, as JJ’s Eatery is the one to go to. The food, friendly service, and entire experience stand out as being top-quality and worth every cent.

Great service and the food were not bad at all, except my friend does not like her coleslaw that came with her fried fish. I don’t blame her. It doesn’t look fresh or appetizing to me. Everything else was great. I love my crispy fried onions very much.

I wish i could give more stars. Our first night in Maine ever. We came for dinner last night, 4 adults, 2 kids + a fussy tired baby. Sat us inside right away. Nick was our waiter and he was PHENOMENAL. He was ontop of our needs. He was playful and funny. He took the kids food orders first so they can eat right away. Brought refills without asking. The food portions were huge & delicious too. Needless to say, we will absolutely be contacting back!

Absolutely great!!!! Bartender made a delicious and spicy Bloody Mary. Nichole L., our server, brought her A game with a smile and was extremely pleasant. We had the lobster special for breakfast and it was over the top (lobster, gruyere, spinach, eggs, tomato in a wrap) with home fries. The coffee was perfect as well.

I’m not sure if I caught them on a bad morning but I’ve never had such terrible service before like this morning. Our waitress didn’t even know what an espresso was, she wasn’t attentive AT ALL. We waited a very long time to even get our orders taken. The food reminded me of something I can make at home. My eggs were drenched in oil, my potatoes were burnt. It was just a bad experience overall.

Came for an early dinner with my daughter. Waitstaff was awesome! I ordered the baked haddock with rice pilaf and broccoli and it was absolutely outstanding. I ate every bite. My daughter got chicken tenders and sweet potato fries and they were also amazing. Looking forward to coming back here again. Definitely five stars!!! Thank you !
