First time. Being used to many great Mexican restaurants and taco trucks in California, I had to know if the food was good. I ordered the chorizo and egg platter with rice, beans, tortilla and salsa sides. Oh my gosh. BEST CHORIZO EVER, and home made! Fantastic! Definitely a must-try. Believe it when you see lines of people waiting to order, talking about how good the food is, rain or shine!

My favorite meal that I had in Maui!!! I had the chorizo, egg, and cheese breakfast burrito which was so delicious and flavorful! I ordered the burrito not realizing it came with a portion of chips and some salsa, but it was a nice surprise. It’s in a super convenient location especially if you are staying at any of the resorts near by.

The tacos were excellent! One of the only real good tacos I had on the island. This is a food cart so there is not much to say about the service. The atmosphere is great because it’s in the whalers village with very lovely atmosphere. We also tried their taco salad, but honestly I would stick with just the tacos. Amazing.

This place was a lot better than I expected! Coming from Texas and California we have high expectations of Taco stands. I expected it to he overpriced and under deliver like some of the places in tourist central places like whalers village. But we loved it. The birria tacos were the highlight in my opinion. But the taco salad was fresh and the veggie burrito was superb. The salsa was also very good. We will come back when we have no food reservations!

After a long day of hiking at the National park I was starving and JJ’s taco did not disappoint! I had 2 steak fajita tacos and I tried Quesabirra for the first time and it was perfection! I wish I could have eaten more and tried more items they were so delicious!! JJ was very kind and has a passion for what he dose, the atmosphere is nice and relaxing with great music. If I lived in the area this would be a goto place for me.

First off the fish taco here is to die for! But honestly, I ordered the birria taco and it was not a birria taco, looked like a carne asada, the guacamole also seemed to be watered down with sour cream. And the al pastor was lacking with no pineapple. Hope to see some changes in the future.
