Ordered 30 wings. On the overhead display it says 24.99 with my total coming to 37.39. I asked why it was a difference in the price. Then I was directed to a sign in the window to which I will share. A 12 dollar difference with the only explanation being the hand written sign on the window.

Thank you JJ Fish for the best Shrimps, I mean Jumbo and Catfish Fillets. We are Seniors and we have bought Shrimps from several Restaurants, like Shrimp Express, who is now ripping people off, on 159th they cut back on the shrimps, but the price hasn’t changed. Bob’s in Hammond Indiana are mixing there large and Jumbo Shrimps in the same box, then they put it on the scale to make you think that they are all Jumbo Shrimps I saw it. Also JJ Fish, do not sale small Shrimp, they only sale Large and Jumbo. It has changed ownership but food is still good

This way first time at this JJ Fish & Chicken. I must admit, even during Covid, this place was clean. My order was cooked after I placed it, not already cooked. Loved the cashier and the chef. Pleasant atmosphere. I will definitely be going back. Kudos to JJFish & Chicken in Cal. City.

The young ladies are very pleasant when taking orders but after what I seen tonight they will never get my service again!! The guy that was preparing the food was touching it with his bare hands while placing it in the serving containers after touching the raw chicken which is very disgusting.. I placed our order on 12/15 for a full pan of catfish nuggets and 75 chicken wings. The total was paid in full when the order was placed. Pick up was set for 12/22 at 11:30 am. When the President of our league showed up to pick up the food at 11:20 the owner developed selective amnesia and told him he didn’t have the order? When he found the order he tried to tell him there was a balance owed on the order which was paid in full on 12/15. After an unpleasant conversation he gave us the food we ordered. I will never order anything from this location again. This man was disrespectful and provided horrible customer service. I spent $132 at his store. He wouldn’t dish out this kind of service in his neighborhood?
