Drove 3 hours to get to Sacramento for a medical appointment and before heading back home I wanted to stop for some lunch. This menu had everything that was gonna hit the spot. Stopped in and placed my order. Chicken strip basket and a ocean perch basket. Also got a 8oz tub of coleslaw and a 8oz tub of macaroni salad. Everything was quick and fresh. Perfect seasoning and helpful customer service. I’ll definitely be back when I am in this area again.

I ordered a 3 way fish perch, whiting, shrimp 4 wings side of Okra. I had some of it once I got to the Arden area. Figured I have the rest later, however once I pick up my fish turned it over I discovered hair that was actually cook in the fish long pieces of hair..I spent $40 and some change for this..This place should be reported to the health department, BTW which I’m going to do so as you can see I have receipts. Disgusting to say the least

Wats up with the chicken the chicken was hella small I mean hella small and they still had feathers on them , we’re do you even get small as chicken wings from …but they need to do better on the size of the chicken wings ..the jjs in Vallejo is way better I ordered the same thing and I couldn’t even eat it all..then the lady only gave me 2 sauces for the fish when we ordered too large plates.

I recently tried the shrimp basket along with the hush puppies and I was really impressed. Everything tasted fresh, hot, and perfectly cooked. The flavors were spot on and the portion size was satisfying. I had a great experience and I am already looking forward to coming back to try their fried chicken next time.

“Seafood gumbo with no seafood… make it make sense.”
I ordered the seafood gumbo from here expecting, well… seafood. What I got instead was a watery bowl of shredded chicken with three tiny crab legs — no shrimp, no fish, no sausage, and definitely no flavor. The broth tasted bland, almost like it had never seen a roux in its life. I genuinely thought it was a mistake, but nope — that’s how they serve it.
If you’re expecting actual seafood in your seafood gumbo, skip this place. Extremely disappointing and definitely not worth the price.

I purchased the 4 wing chicken and french fries. The fries were hot and crispy, which i loved. However, the chicken wings was extremely small, feathers on the tips, bland tasting, and seemed to be old. I did complain about the size, but they refused to remedy the issue. I felt like I was robbed. I will not be going here again.

We got 2 orders of fish and fries. The fries were ok but the fish was cut very thin and and very dry like leather. We couldn’t even eat it. It was a waste of time. It was nothing like Captains Fish and chips! I would never go back there again. I’ve also had the wings there and they were also over cooked!

If you’ve never been here. I strongly recommend that you go and try this spot out. Don’t worry about the location, fresh, hot, NOT GREASY/OILY, fast, well cooked poultry always, seasoned to the bone. This is not a free promo either. If I could I’d eat here at least 2-3 times a week faithfully.

Horrible customer service. The guy in the front was wearing an earphone and did not look happy to serve us. He keeps mumbling as well and we cannot hear what he is saying. He has one word response throughout the transaction. When we got our food, we asked if there is any sauce. He said there is. We got home and there is not even a single one sauce in the bag. My husband had to go back and ask for some. My husband told me the guy did not even apologize and looked very inconvenience when he asked for the condiments.
For the food that is mediocre, they need to do better with the service. Sad to say, we will never be back.

The food is great but the Mexican guy here sucks and doesn’t do a good job at customer service. I love the food and stuff but I was trying to order some gumbo!! The Hispanic man at the front didnt answer the phone when I was coming from a whole mother state. Thats not professional and its not koo at all when you say there is gumbo on the menu and you DONT HAVE IT!!
