I ordered the red snapper combo with Shrimp….The AI order says it come with 3 pieces of Red Snapper, I only got 2 pieces, the red snapper was DRY & chewy, the 5 Shrimp was very salty, I was only able to eat 2 of them. JJ’s needs to get a better cook. I’ve eaten here before and finished all my food, but not this time

But also like most people in the comment, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, STOP WITH THE SALT!!!! Salt is bad for the hearh. At least ask your customers if they want the extra spice, salt or whatever. Dont assume every ó ne wants to store fat in their system.

I stopped by hungry for Fish and Chips.. I was promptly greeted and made to feel appreciated. There are so many options for fish and chicken options at this location. The food was delicious and very generous portions. This is a solid stop for Fish and Chips.

Fish is soggy though the breading is crisp. The breading has flavor in some bites, but not consistently throughout.
The portions are large. For a full, I was given four large pieces of fish. Too much to eat. For the price, it was a lot of food, so that’s a positive.
The fries were decent, but a bit soggy inside as well.
Service is quick and the store is clean.
Will be looking for a different fish and chips shop next go around in the area.

This is definitely one of my go-to places in Fairfield. They have a great menu. The dessert selection is very large. I had the banana putting today. The atmosphere is good. They also have catering. Ali the owner is very friendly and accommodating, He does his best to make you feel welcome and happy with what you get. They have a good selection of fish, chicken is good, actually everything is outstanding. I definitely recommend this place if you’re hungry. The servings are very good and they will definitely get you full.

Where do I start? Portion? For a “small” size you’re really getting a portion big enough for two people. Don’t be fooled by the size. Small got me three filets of a red snapper, some fries, and two slices of bread. The “large” size was suppose to only be four filets. Cost? For the portion I received, this was a steal. Not even sure why the price didn’t go up with inflation. Service is great, customers are awesome, and place was clean. Best part was the food was fresh and hot out of the oil fryer. If you’re in Fairfield and want to satiate your “fish n chips” craving, stop by here. You won’t regret it.

Our 1st point of contact was awesome customer service. The fella who took our phone order & cashiered was a joyful delight. Food was fresh and delicious! We had catfish (oh shazaam best I’ve ever had) and whiting fish (meh it was ok). Collard greens, mac n cheese, and okra was yummy! We’ll be back fo’ sho’!

Food was tasty and their fries are surprisingly good for a seafood restaurant… I would definitely recommend to try they’re not the best but they’re good… I spent $18 dollars for chicken tenders, jumbo shrimp and fries so they’re semi expensive…

I went here because we were in the mood for some garlic noodles and seafood. The greens had good flavor. The catfish nuggets and red snapper were terribly dry. The snapper and jumbo shrimp was really tough in texture. The fries were tough and stuck together. There were pieces of bread under the fish that looked old as well. The macaroni and cheese was bland and the garlic shrimp noodles were bland as well, even though there was a lot of garlic. Overall nothing was fresh and seemed like the only reason it was hot was due to reheating. Spent $70+ dollars for bland reheated food, which is scary due to it being seafood.
