I was on my way through Grand Forks and I’ve heard great things about this restaurant, so I decided to grab takeout. My only complaint is that they didn’t pack utensils in with the meal. So I had to wait until I got home, which was 90 minutes later. Even after 90 minutes of sitting in the car, this food was absolutely amazing. The rice, the curry, the tandoori, were all unbelievably delicious.

Absolutely awful experience. The place wasn’t even busy, yet the waitress ignored us, offering no welcome or greeting. Instead, she grabbed the menu and walked away without a word. Throughout our visit, she showed friendliness only towards other customers, which left us feeling discriminated and unwelcome. The discomfort and embarrassment were undeniable, especially when she forgot our plates, making us eat out of a shared bowl. Such behavior is unacceptable. We won’t be returning unless they drastically improve their service. This review is not spam, just a heads-up to other POC. We’re also not from this town.

One of the few good restaurants in Grand Forks. Clean restrooms, good energy, great food, nice people. People often stereotype Indian cuisine, but I highly recommend stepping outside of your bubble and trying some of the best food I’ve eaten in years!

Nice, beautiful and simple decor, clean, and the ONLY Indian food in Grand Forks so I was hoping it was good food. I was pleasantly impressed with the quality of the food and the decor and cleanliness of the place. The AC was on just right … not too strong and not too low for summer heat in late July 2022. The table and menu was very clean and so was the bathroom. I am vegetarian and was happy that they could make me a vege tikka masala which is my favorite dish in the world. I asked for extra veges and I was happy to pay the $1.95 extra for it. Then when I received the dish, the masala was amazing but most of the veges were big potato pieces and carrots. Those are my least favorite veges. I was hoping for more cauliflower, tomato, green pepper, onion, and even broccoli. Next time I will just ask for the regular vege tikka masala and no extra veggies bc I am afraid to get mostly potato. Other than that the servers were nice and kind. The portion of basmati rice with cumin was perfect (generous). I love the parasols all over the ceiling! They are so colorful and beautiful. The decor is not over done. And the music is not too loud and nice. Love it.

The customer service was good. I got seated right away. I haven’t been able to try alot of Indian Food places to eat, however I wasn’t too impressed with the Achar. Better luck next time. Great service and will definitely come again!

Our favorite place to eat in town. So much flavor! Many great meal options and be sure to order some garlic Naan to go with your dinner! Will adjust spiciness to your preference. My wife likes mild and I like extra hot! We both win! Friendly staff. Always great regardless if you eat in or take out.

My wife, her son, his family and I dined in at House of Punjab. I was surprised there wasn’t a line waiting to be seated. The food is outstanding. If only there was such a restaurant close to where my wife and I live. The service was great and we enjoyed the atmosphere. My wife and I agreed that this restaurant was going to be good by the aroma coming out of the restaurant before we opened the door.

Probably one of the worst places I’ve ever eaten. The biryani is a joke, not freshly made. Not properly cooked. We returned it immediately and said we did not like it. And they still wanted to charge us even though we apologize and said it was not good to eat. And then the wife was so rude and wanted to charge us for something we returned right away once we saw the condition of the rice. Very American meal, if you want to taste real Indian food I would suggest anywhere but there. Maybe go to grocery store have better luck with flavor?

First off….amazing food. Lamb and chicken make up the majority of meat options, but also a lot of vegan/vegetarian options.
