We made reservations for 645 pm. We arrived 30 mins early and was told we had to wait which was fine and I could understand why. We were a party of 4 and the place was busy. No place to sit, we had to stand by the door the whole time. Our reservation time came up. They were cleaning off a 4 seat and we thought we were going to get seated. Just then a party of 3 came in. The guy made a big fuss and the next thing you know, his party is getting seated at the table we thought was going to ours. We had to wait another 35 minutes for a table to open. We had the first res slot on their list and we were the last ones they crossed off. We didn’t get an apology or even an acknowledgement of our over an hour wait. I guess it was because we didn’t complain once or make a fuss. The noise level was very high, no way to carry on an intimate conversation. If it wasn’t for my wife wanting to try the place I would have left when they didn’t seat us at 645. I am sure they wouldn’t have given us a second thought if we did. We held out hope the meal would be worth the wait. What a disappointment, my Ramen tasted like a package of 10 for a dollar, the kind you get at a discount market. I ask for hot tea, I got a cup of hot water with a tea bag.
I could have went to a grocery store purchased a bag of Ramen and got a free tea bag from the hotel, and had the same meal for less than 50 cents. The pork stickers were terrible, burnt on the outside and cool on the inside and greasier then the underside of worn out Landrover. Two hot teas, two sodas, house salad, Garlic rice, 2 Ramen bowls and the pork stickers, ticket was north of $120. I was livid, but my wife ushered me out of there before I made a scene.
I will never set foot in one of these JINYA Ramen Bars again.
Alexis was the best waitress i could ask for! She was attentive and knowledgeable. She was also kind and friendly. She stayed up on drinks and checked on us frequently.
The food here was amazing. The seasoned egg was perfect and Ramen was delicious!
I highly recommend the chicken wontons, bun and mochi
I Will be back!
We ordered Takoyaki (Octopus balls), one Spicy Chicken Ramen, and one Mango Mochi Ice Cream for dessert. While waiting for our food, a server brought us an edamame bowl. We thought it was complimentary and checked with our server, and they explained it had been mistakenly brought to our table — so they made it “from the house,” which was a really nice gesture.
The Takoyaki was absolutely delicious – soft, flavorful filling with a lightly crispy exterior. Easily one of the best items we tried. The Spicy Chicken Ramen was also very good. The portion size was generous for one person but a bit small for two, at least with our appetite. They provided extra sauces on the side to adjust the spice level. We ordered mild spicy and, as Indians, found it perfectly balanced.
For dessert, we had the Mango Mochi Ice Cream, which was refreshing, though not particularly standout.
Overall, we enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, and the friendly service. We would definitely come back to try other items on the menu. Highly recommend JINYA Ramen Bar!
We have been here 3 times now and its hands down our favorite place to get ramen. The servers are honestly so nice and the enviroment feels so welcoming and such a vibe. We will be coming again and highly recommend
Service energy was plesant….However, we had to ask for untensils, used dishes were not cleared without asking, no condiments offered with sushi.
Seating options are plentiful, bar, outdoor, indoor. They do have seating for bigger parties outside, which is a nice addition. Light music outside would be a great addition.
Dessert is offered, we did not induldge.
I am 50/50 on returning to JINYA as I would try out what other ramen spots Tulsa has to offer.
I had an amazing experience at this ramen bar thanks to our waitress, Amanda. She was friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Her recommendations were spot‑on, and she checked on us just the right amount—never intrusive, always helpful.
What really stood out was how genuinely welcoming she was. You can tell she cares about creating a great dining experience. The food was fantastic, but Amanda’s service is what made the visit exceptional.
If you’re coming here, I hope you get lucky enough to have Amanda as your server. She’s a true asset to the restaurant and made our day.
Altogether a very good experience!
