My experience was extraordinary! Nora was our server and we were fortunate to have her. She provided exceptional service with some great recommendations. Her shift was over and Sofia took over. She was also amazing and continued providing the exceptional service we experienced there. Then, while waiting for the bathroom, Eric and I had a great conversation about how all the staff are not overweight working at a restaurant with such amazing food. Each of the staff I mentioned went above and beyond to make us feel very welcomed and provided exceptional customer service.
Each of the six different items we ordered were absolutely delicious. We both stated that the Ramen was the best we had ever experienced. The appetizers, rice dish, salad and cocktails were equally as amazing. I highly recommend this wonderful establishment and we will be returning regularly despite living close to an hour away in Redondo Beach.
The service is just as impressive. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always happy to make recommendations. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to enjoy a comforting meal.
Whether you’re a ramen lover or trying it for the first time, JINYA is truly a must-visit. Delicious food, great service, and a consistently wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended!
Cool night, perfect bowl. The Premium Tonkotsu Red had deep pork flavor with a clean chili kick. Mild spice kept the broth front and center. The JINYA Bun was soft and savory, easy reorder. Spicy Creamy Shrimp were crisp and saucy, great to share. Drinks were refreshing, especially the Watermelon Delight and Matcha Lychee Lemonade. Finished with mochi, simple and good. Service was quick and attentive. With plenty of parking in the shopping center, it is a trifecta of food, service, and convenience.
Pro Tips:
• Start at mild or medium spice to taste the broth.
• Grab the JINYA Bun and Spicy Creamy Shrimp for the table.
• Add a seasoned egg to your ramen.
• Use the plaza lot for easy parking.
We were here for veterans weekend and the Warner Bros. tour.
Wasn’t sure what to expect but came here with an open mind. The place was a bit too dark for my liking and we were sat all the way in the back.
I had ordered the shareable fried rice with scrambled eggs, the Jinya Tonkotsu Black. Which is what they are known for.
Fried rice and egg:
The fried rice and scrambled egg combo was so delectable! It no flavor was over powering another. It was a well balance flavor of garlic, salt, rice and egg. The whole roasted garlic cloves was appetizing.
Jinya Tonkotsu Black:
This meal include a basic ramen with seasoned egg, seaweed, mushrooms, char sui, ramen and broth (there might be more)
The meat was mouthwatering, all the flavors are there and stood out to me. Often when I get the Char sui you do taste the meet and not much else. The flavors of the ramen penetrated to the meat and is was delicious. The egg was so massive and it was also very well made. The noodles were not too soft and firm enough to my liking. Which when eating ramen most noodles tend to get soggy after a while. This however stayed consistent and held all the flavor of the ramen in every bite.
The rest of the family had some ramen and one of us had the rice bowl. Overall everyone enjoyed their meal and had similar sentiments as I had. I am looking forward to coming back to this specific location, but I would also like to try their other spots as well. From all over California, this by far has been the best ramen I have had. Definitely worth the time to come here, relax and enjoy some good ramen.
