I visited this ramen spot for lunch on a Saturday and had a great experience overall. There was plenty of parking, which made it super convenient.

We ordered the Tonkotsu Black, Tan Tan Men, and a kids meal. The Tonkotsu Black was the star of the meal for me – the pork and noodles went really well together. It was a bit on the oily side, but still very flavorful. I wanted something spicy, so I tried the Tan Tan ramen. It was decent, but if you’re like me and enjoy a kick, I’d actually recommend going with the Tonkotsu and adding some of the chili available on the table – I think you’d like that better!

The kids meal was also great – it came with a nice variety of items, which is perfect for little ones.

Service was superb! The staff was very attentive, checking in often and making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive.

The interior was nicely organized and welcoming. Definitely a place I’d come back to.

The atmosphere is definitely my favorite part of this restaurant. For cost? Outrageously high but when you’re so nauseous all you can eat is soup- you better believe I’ll pay up. Pictures here don’t do the food presentation justice, it was super pretty. For 3 people all getting ramen and the tuna rice appetizer, it was about $75
The tuna rice was utterly fantastic.
The quarters are very close, The bar only seats about 5 people. We shared a table with another small group which doesn’t bother us but the family we were next to did not like that at all. They have neat little sauce dishes on the tables with no decor for littles to knock over (thank goodness.) The lighting is very nice and the art on the walls isn’t overwhelming. It’s cool peeking over the counter into the line kitchen. The chicken ramen was super earthy and the wontons were perfectly cooked. I liked being able to add extra noodles with a side menu for toppings. The toppings were roughly $3 per piece. Extra seaweed is $1/sheet.
The chairs are a little low so don’t sit down too fast or you might slam down.
The Biria Ramen is a cool twist making the ramen have homey Mexican food feel.
The portions are smaller than what you’d typically expect of ramen but still enough to enjoy leftovers the next day.

Might be the best ramen spot I’ve had in Utah thus far! This location was nice and spacious and the interior was nicely decorated with a modern feel to it. It’s spacious with plenty of seating as well as a bar. I was quite surprised by the variety in their menu. They have a whole vegan section in the menu which you don’t really see too often. I ordered the jinya tonkotsu black which on first impression was good. Maybe bc ive eaten a lot of black tonkotsu ramens, I felt like jinya’s was lacking a bit of that char black garlic oil flavor. I did like that there was a lot of ingredients in the bowl and most importantly it was a full marinated egg. A lot of ramen spots only do half an egg or the egg isn’t very flavorful, but Jinya’s egg was probably my favorite part of the ramen! The broth is creamy and rich, not super heavy or salty as well. The staff were very friendly and was quick to serve. Definitely going to try some of their other dishes and drinks!

I did the Lunch Deal with JINYA Tonkotsu Black and Crispy Chicken, and ordered Nikuman. The Tonkotsu Black was delicious, and I would order it again. I know the seasoned egg is a marketing tool here, but to be honest, I didn’t get the hype. But again, the ramen was really good. The Crispy Chicken was better than the Nikuman, so I’d recommend that route if you do the lunch special.

The service was excellent. Our waitress was helpful and provided great recommendations.

It’s an intimate dining room, but I enjoyed the vibe of the place. The main reservation I had on the food is that it’s premium pricing, but it doesn’t deliver the equivalent satisfaction. Asa Ramen in Orem provides the same quality of food for almost half the price. I think you’re really paying for the name and table service here. Overall, it’s good food and excellent service, but it’s not worth the price tag for me.

Pretty good place. If you want to try a Japanese-high quality Ramen. This is the place. I recommend the Jinya Pork Bun. Its pretty good. If you look at the menu and ask yourself. “What is Ramen?” Order the Tonkatsu Original as a safe bet. If your like. “I only like chicken!” Go for the Chicken Ramen. If you look at chopsticks and ask where the ink is. Probably dont come here.

Amazing food! Authentic! Very friendly service and my food was ready for pick up earlier than anticipated. While I didn’t sit in, I could tell that the atmosphere was great. The place was packed.

I am extremely disappointed with the service we received at this location.

My family and I visited this restaurant tonight. We have always gone to the Salt Lake location and have had good experiences, so we were excited to try this one since it’s closer to our new home. Once we were seated, our waitress approached us, and the moment she heard our accents and realized we were speaking another language, her attitude visibly changed. Her facial expression and demeanor made it clear she was bothered. We chose to ignore it and continue with our evening.

Shortly after our food arrived, my husband, who is diabetic, suddenly became very ill. He fainted and then began vomiting. I immediately asked one waitress for rubbing alcohol and explained that he wasn’t feeling well, she quickly helped us. We then asked another waitress for a bag, and she also ran to assist without hesitation.

When our assigned waitress finally came to the table and saw what was happening, she said nothing, made a very unpleasant face, walked away, and returned only with our check and to-go bags. She then told us, “If he is not feeling good, you all need to go because the other tables are looking.” This was simply not true. No one was staring, there was even a couple seated right next to us, and when we asked them, they said they hadn’t noticed anything and would have offered help if they had.

At no point did our waitress ask if my husband was okay or offer any assistance. Her response was cold, dismissive, and completely lacking compassion during what was a medical emergency. This experience was upsetting and unacceptable, and it has left us very disappointed in the level of service and basic human decency shown.

It had been awhile since we came back to Utah, luckily Jinya hasn’t missed a beat. Still the best ramen in Utah. We were greeted at the door by everyone and our waitress was great. The gyoza was cooked to perfection, the apricot hefeweizen is still one of the best beers I’ve had at a restaurant, and the spicy chicken ramen is phenomenal. Parking was easy and plentiful. Just a great experience.

We were craving ramen and decided to come to Jinya for dinner. The restaurant is small but really nice on the inside and well kept. Our waitress was super helpful and nice and the food was really good. The only two complaints we had is that the egg was completely raw on the inside (a personal preference I know) which some people like but just know that ahead of time if you don’t. And the second being that we asked for forks that never came. I know that’s another small thing but when you aren’t great with chopsticks another option can make the meal more enjoyable.
