I’ve come here several times and have enjoyed each visit. Service quality varies from excellent to decent but the food is always fantastic.

I have to get the iced green tea, sometimes with a side of simple syrup if I want sweetness. It’s offered sometimes but you may have to ask for it. The lycheetini is good and alcohol is undetectable but a little too sweet and syrupy for me. It kind of tastes like a fruit cut syrup. Presentation is beautiful. Bf likes the ringo mule.

For appetizers, we like the spicy creamy shrimp tempura and porky gyoza. The shrimp is huge and I like it dipped in the hot sauce. The pork gyoza is so flavorful and I like gyoza sauce with the pepper oil. Sometimes we get the crispy chicken if we order the lunch special.

My favorite ramen is the tonkatsu black and after all the appetizers I could never finish it. My bf likes the chicken wonton ramen and spicy chicken ramen.

Visited Nov 2025: Good service throughout the time we were there. The ramen is great! We got the Creamy Ramen and the broth was spiced well and at the right temperature. Good amount of ingredients and the ramen noodles were cooked appropriately.

Ended up taking home the Matcha Tiramisu to eat later, and it was very light and creamy. It is very matcha forward in terms of taste but we were notified by the waitress before ordering it.

We visit HHI occasionally and we will definitely return based on this experience.

JINYA Ramen Bar hit the spot! The ramen was rich and flavorful, the tacos were fresh and fun (so cute!), and everything looked as good as it tasted. Service was excellent — Mia was cheerful, attentive, and made us feel welcome. The atmosphere is lively and perfect for a night out.

Only note: the bathroom needed a bit of attention but honestly, the food and service more than made up for it. We’ll definitely be back for another round!

The atmosphere and service are good, but the food is just okay. Noodles are great but the soup base is too salty. The takoyaki is not as good as at other Jinya locations. There is too much flour and sauce, and it should have been fried longer.

Great atmosphere, great food presentation. However, I ordered the tonkatsu ramen. I only got 2 small pieces of meat. The whole bowl was $20, so was very disappointed. Lacked in flavor.

The service was wonderful. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We were seated quickly and the wait for our food wasn’t long at all. We had 3 different apps, steam bun, crispy chicken and shrimp they were all delicious. We had 3 different ramens which we all really enjoyed. I had the birria ramen and it was absolutely amazing, probably the best ramen I’ve had, it was flavorful fresh and the noodles were perfect. It seemed like the ingredients were fresh, simple and expertly prepared. The dining area was clean and comfortable and was decorated in a classy and aesthetically pleasing way.

True rating is a 3.5. very expensive for ramen but good. My sister got the original tonkotsu and the broth was amazing. I got the the level 6 Spicy red and unfortunately there’s room for improvement. When adding spice, you have to balance flavor and they missed that mark. Yes i added the seasoning sauce but it was still lacking. Appetizer wise we had the pork bun which was melt in ya mouth good. The salmon with crispy rice was also good. Finally, the sweet tea had a bit of a funky taste to it. Got double charged and we had to call back to ask about it instead of them just telling us they made a mistake when they brought us our checks. Overall, the food was overpriced but tasty.

The best part of this place was the ambience. We sat by the fire and its a perfect atmosphere for an intimate date. I’d def come again and try some other options.

I stumbled across this restaurant by accident, and I’m glad that I did. I got the spicy Ramen with chicken at a spicy level. I definitely could’ve gone a level up, but was still very good. I got the wings as an appetizer, and I may go back for dinner just to get the wings again. I decided to do a Mocktail, and I got the J-Girl, and it did not disappoint. To top it all off, They give you fresh garlic to press yourself. 10/10 highly recommend.

This spot became our go-to place during our 3-night stay at Hilton Head Island! They were incredibly accommodating of our dietary restrictions and took great care to help us choose the best flavors and food options. The Matcha Lychee Lemonade and J- Girl Mocktails were both delicious—on the sweeter side, perfect for those who enjoy sweet drinks. We tried the Flying Vegan Ramen Bowl and the Impossible Rice Bowl, both of which were fully customizable. They were even able to prepare everything without onion, garlic, potatoes, or mushrooms, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend for anyone with specific dietary needs!

What a gem in hilton head. Chicken karage was crisp, moist and flavorful. The breaded Brussel sprouts were light and the Ramen was delicious. I got the tonkotsu black. The garlic chips and the pork chasu were a great combo and the broth was flavorful. The first Ramen place where the vegan Ramen broth was also unbelievable. Finished off with the green tea mochi. Fantastic ambiance, good service and reasonable pricing. Can’t go wrong with this gem.
