Reviews
My only criticism is perhaps lowering the volume on the music front (or even switching genres to something more easy listening) as this is a hindrance in the otherwise lovely atmosphere with the fire pit.
Excited to go back and be treated wonderfully by the staff as I enjoy another delicious meal at Jinya Burbank.
Checked book is so oily.
****FOR THE MANAGER TO REVIEW****
I got there around 3:20, waitress seated me inside as I requested. The energy from the beginning was unwelcoming for some reason not sure why. There were 2 tables of guess outside and 2 waitress at the time. After glancing the menu for 5 minutes or so, no body offered me any thing to drink while I was deciding what I wanted to eat. The waitress comes over takes my order. I ordered an appetizer and a kids Ramen. She told me that I had to be 12 years old to order the kids Ramen, no problem totally understand that, so I just ordered the food to go instead. She took my order and I proceeded to wait outside in the front next to the host desk until it was done cause once again the energy felt unwelcoming. 30 minutes later no updates on the food, no “it’s coming out soon sorry for the wait, nothing to drink was offered. Neither one of them said anything to me after 30 minutes. They never had more than 2 tables of guess the whole time. I watched everyone sitting down get there food, finish there food, and get there checks. I saw about 2 to 3 door dash orders get there food, which that isn’t such a big deal cause they could of ordered that food way earlier. After 30 minutes of me standing right in front of the waitress desk, I finally ask for an update. She said they was waiting on the appetizer to be done. I told myself if I wait 10 more minutes and nobody says anything, I’m getting a refund. About 7 minutes past and she gave me my food. I proceeded to ask her if the garlic paste was in the bag, she cut me off and said that “the appetizer is in there” I told her I was just trying to ask if the garlic paste was in there, which she said yes. She never apologized for the wait, never said thanks for coming, or have a good day. Like I said earlier, the energy was very unwelcoming. I go to the Jinyah in studio city all the time. The service is like night and day. I only went to that one cause I was on that side of town. I will be sticking to my studio city location for now on, I love everyone up there especially Barber.
Thank you for responding, I appreciate the professionalism.
Have a wonderful day
Gio was a great server! He guided us on what would be best to order.
