Yeah. You want to go here. The owner was so nice and patient with us as we asked questions and figured out what to order. If you like wings, you need to try their wings. They have the most delicious crispy coating. We ordered 10 wings, 5 with the salt and pepper seasoning, 5 with lemon pepper. The batter is some sort of magic. We ordered the crawfish pistolette appetizer as a new-to-us dish. They were akin to mini fried sweet bread bowls doused in crawfish love. My son ate an entire pound of the boiled shrimp with garlic butter. My hubby had the catfish and fried okra. It was all delicious. Next time we come through town this is our place to eat.

Update: the owner was great and made sure they got my order out in 10 minutes after she found out about the delay.
Food is great. Alexis was awesome. The kitchen staff just needs to get organized and get orders out efficiently and in order. 30 ppl ordered after me and got their food first.

This place didn’t look like much from the outside, but the food was simply outstanding! Excellent pickle chips, and wonderful shrimp/catfish/gator platter. The gumbo was amazing, seriously! By the time it was brought to the table I didn’t think I would find room to eat it, but I polished the bowl thinking: it’s the best gumbo ever! Very prompt and nice service, too. Priced right. I wish we lived closer to this place, because we would be there very often.

The food does not disappoint. We ordered two boils (like the picture) and funnel fries. I loved the amount of seasoning on the boil, and didn’t feel the need to use any additional seasonings or dips. The funnel fries were so crispy on the outside while being soft and fluffy on the inside.
It’s hard traveling on the road and finding good local places to eat at. However I was really glad we stopped here and could enjoy a delicious meal.
10/10 would recommend!

Not the nicest looking place on n the outside nor the inside but it seems to be clean for the most part. It’s just an older building, that’s all. but you know what they say “don’t judge a book by his cover” and some of the most
grungiest places normally have the best foods!!! Food is great!!! Service was great. Very friendly staff. And quick. You must try it to believe how great it is!!!

The owner and staff where so welcoming . Let’s get to the food…I did a boil bag, and I gotta say by far one of the best I’ve ever had. Hubby did fish and shrimp. Their batter is amazing…all items cooked perfectly. We also tried the egg rolls…wow so good.

Fair prices for good food. Liked the Fried Fish w/hushpuppies, and the Salt-n-Pepper Shrimp w/beans & rice, too much h batter for my preference on the Fried Oysters, but overall liked the food.

I stopped here on my drive from Houston to Baton Rouge, my first time here. Chase was awesome and friendly, remembered my name when she brought my food, which was super quick by the way! Had the two piece fish, it was well-seasoned and super hot and fresh, the Jingo’s sauce (like a seasoned tartar sauce) was great but the flavor of the red beans and rice was AMAZING! I inhaled it and now sitting here thinking about getting another bowl to take home.. try this place and enjoy the hospitality- and the beans!
