The wife and I recently went vegetarian. This small family restaurant has an amazing menu with many great options. We have spent the last month trying to find somewhere that we felt like could cater to a limited diet. If we walked out today with full bellies and a smile. And the tab was relatively reasonable. Five star restaurant. We will absolutely be back. If you don’t give it a try that’s your fault. by the way the pineapple curry is amazing.

This “Jewel Thai” Restaurant is located in the old town of Albany which translates into about a 10 minute drive off NB I5 Exit 233 or SB I5 234.

Nice little place. Not much seating on the inside. The have to-go & take-out orders on a table with your name on them. Very simple. Have to say everything was good except for the sticky rice, the noodles & the calamari. The boxes they pack them into make them more than a pain to try and eat without reheating them in a bowl. The noodles were gooey, stuck together and not hot. The sticky rice was beyond sticky. The volcano chicken was a bit old and tough. The vegetables could be chopped a bit smaller. The cashew chicken was really good and much fresher. First time trying the tempura avocado and it is okay, we were not fans of the fried version.

Our experience at this small local Thai restaurant was nothing short of extraordinary. From the inviting ambiance to the authentic culinary delights, every aspect of our visit surpassed our expectations. The passion and dedication of the staff in delivering an exceptional dining experience were evident in every dish we savored. But it was the Thai iced coffee that truly stole the show, leaving an unforgettable impression that will keep us coming back for more. If you’re searching for a place to immerse yourself in the flavors of Thailand while enjoying a cozy atmosphere, this hidden gem is an absolute must-visit.

Best Thai food in Albany. The venue is small but the service is impeccable. The curries are all to die for, the sauces are amazing, and the soups are incredible. The Thai iced tea is a true treat, as well!

In the food desert known as Albany, Oregon, this place really stood out to me! I got the Thai basil and it was delicious. Lunch specials for 1125, friendly people, nice little downtown vibe.

I actually got Jinda delivered from DoorDash and I am so happy that I did! The food was great! We ordered the basil fried rice which was light and non- greasy with nice basil flavor but the most amazing part was that the chicken wasn’t dry, rubbery or overcooked. It was tender! The green papaya salad was very enjoyable as everything was still crisp and yet had really good flavor. We also got the larb salad with beef. I personally would have preferred a bit more tang from the lime and more flavor from the rice powder but nonetheless it was really good. The curry puffs appetizer was an extra last minute addition on our part just because it sounded good to our hungry bellies and I’m glad we did. The pastry wasn’t greasy at all and they were actually nice and light and tasty. I look forward to ordering from them again and trying even more things.

The waitstaff was polite and attentive. The duck was really good! The lettuce wrap appetizer is huge, and has tons of flavor! (There is lots of ginger and purple onion, so watch out for your little ones) I got the chow mein, wasn’t anything great, but that’s on me for sticking to the more basic entree. I’d definitely come back here. It’s also very affordable.

So so so good! Stopped in for lunch today and was shocked how good the food was, I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken at a level 2 spice and it was DELICIOUS and also tried the chicken wontons and they were so good too. My husband was relatively shocked that his pad Thai lunch special with upgraded shrimp provided as many shrimp as it did (they were large shrimp and probably about 8 of them) The portions at lunch time were very generous for the price, (10.25) plus, came with pot stickers on the side..service was quick and friendly, and a nice atmosphere to dine in at. I would highly recommend giving them a try and bring in the friendly support to one of our Albany downtown store fronts!

One of the best Thia restaurants we have eaten in. Great selection of dishes at a good price. A better value than some of the other local offerings. The “mango paradise” was well prepared and very flavorful. We will be back
