If you haven’t tried Jina Yoo’s, you’re missing out! This is one of our absolute favorites in Columbia.
It is upscale Asian with a plethora of items to choose from. We have enjoyed everything we’ve tried – from appetizers to pad thai to sushi.
My favorite is Jina’s pad thai with chicken – I get it every time. We typically get Jina’s Balls or the Crabby Basket for an appetizer – both are delicious! We have also tried a few sushi’s and have enjoyed them all. The quality of food and service is high.
Drinks from the bar have also always been good. Staff is knowledgeable about the menu and very accommodating for food allergies. Absolutely no negative things to say about this restaurant, and always looking forward to the next time we visit! Can’t recommend enough.

Our family of 5 went to Jina Yoo’s for a celebration. We got there early because we know it gets busy and we didn’t have a reservation. We were seated right away. We always get a crabby basket and edamame for appetizers. Some of us are sushi fans and some of aren’t. Their salads are delicious and fresh. The sumo noodles are so good too, the sauce is tasty and there are a lot of vegetables in them. There are so many sushi rolls to choose from. We always get a shrimp tempura to share and then our own roll. The staff is attentive and friendly.

We got the Pad Thai and Cupid’s Butt roll. I know that their Pad Thai is a special recipe, but it was almost completely lacking in sauce/flavor. I don’t know if they forgot to add something, but it was fairly bland. The roll was great! We got carry out and it was ready when we got there.

It was busy but we were seated right away. the wait staff were friendly, but seemed to be assigned tables across the restaurant, so they couldn’t pay attention well to all their tables. Our Pork Gyosa was good and fresh. The Oi fish was cooked well, but was over pepper and salted. The sushi was tasty, but the rice was to dry. The creme Brule was delicious, but the custard wasn’t fully set. The watermelon Sorbet was excellent, fresh and refreshing.

This was probably one of the worse restaurant experiences I have ever had. Our reservation was at 6:30 and we ordered food at 6:45. We did not receive our food until 8:40. I ordered chicken fried rice and they didn’t have any pre cut chicken so I had to substitute it for something else. Multiple tables complained but since I was with a group of young adults management seemed like they didn’t care to check up on us. There were multiple servers that came out of the kitchen crying so there was obviously something wrong with the chefs and management. Once we got our food it was terrible. The rice didn’t even seem fully cooked. I would not recommend to anyone at all.

I really enjoy eating at Jina Yoo’s.
The service was a little slow last time I ate there but typically they are “on the ball!”
The food tastes good and the variety of options on the menu is slightly more than other similar type restaurants found in Columbia, MO.
… All in all, if my friends asked me if they should try Jina Yoo’s I would certainly encourage them to give it a go!

Typical upscale restaurant tucked away in a quiet part of the city, with a nice relaxing atmosphere and dim lighting. The food was of high quality, as expected for the price point. As an appetizer, the Five Spiced Calamari was well portioned and seasoned. It was crispy, and served with a soy ginger sauce that had a nice little kick. The Seafood Dynamite, a Jina Speciality, had a unique creamy sauce with a lobster-esque flavor. Meanwhile, the Red Eye Roll had fresh, tasty tuna and eel with a nice crunch on the outside. The dishes were smaller than expected, but it was satisfying. Servers were friendly, but the wait time was a bit long. Overall, I would definitely recommend Jina Yoo’s if you are looking for upscale Asian fusion dining.
