Category: Elevated Chinese. Today’s Chinese restaurants are mostly dives, but once upon a time many were much more elegant. This restaurant, which is mostly Chinese with Korean influences, has elevated both the interior design and the food, recalling the halcyon days of fine Chinese dining. To be clear, it’s not so elegant that you need to dress up in any way, but it’s way classier than at least 95% of today’s Chinese restaurants. The dining room is bordered by spacious semi-circular booths separated by sheer drapery. A long banquette with four-tops and two-tops with white leather chairs populate the room. Some tables have built-in Lazy Susans, which ease sharing among larger groups. Basket-like oblate spheroid lanterns hang from high wooden beams, gently lighting the room. The beautiful black-topped bar, red paneled below and accented by red paper lanterns of different shapes, has a dining room side and more intimate lounge side. The lounge opens to the patio dining area, which is equipped with heaters, misters, and a glass windscreen. The food is also well designed and presented. I liked the unique hot and sour soup, which is truer to what you’d find in China. The steamed dumplings were moist and flavorful, and easy to share because they are kind of folded, with two pouches of filling that can be divided. The Mango Prawn was excellent. After you finish the prawns, keep the remaining sauce. The Citrus Soy Chicken was also excellent on its own, but extra excellent when dipped in the remaining Prawn sauce. The K-pop music was enjoyable, but the food didn’t match the photos on the menu. I probably wouldn’t come back.
The sweet sour chicken was neither sweet nor sour, and not salty either. Adding strawberry, lychee, and pineapple was creative, but if you’re looking for authentic traditional flavors, you may want to think twice.

Literally the best jjam ppong in AZ. The broth is very flavorful, spicy, thick and lots of meat. Their spicy beef was really good too. Crispy, spicy and good portion. Looking forward to try everything in the menu!!

A beautiful restaurant! My wife and I went on a Tuesday evening; everything was very quiet. The decoration is on point and the food is of the same standard. Everything tasted extremely fresh and looked wonderful. We got the shiitake mushroom (spicy but delicious), chicken and fried rice, wok fried dumplings, and the glass sweet potato. It was more than enough for two people. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant for anyone who loves unique flavors, quality ingredients, and a lovely venue. I will be going back :).

The food was pretty good but extremely (spicy) hot. If you go, make sure to order rice with your dinner. That’s a separate task and charge. Yes, for white rice. The decor was attractive. But I will not be returning.
My wife and I had brought a visiting guest here for dinner. First time here. Three meals and two drinks were ordered. The drinks arrived promptly but each of our meals were brought out one at a time separated by about 15 mins each. I talked to the server about this and he looked at me like I had two heads.
No matter. After our three meals were all finally delivered he brought the appetizer we order. This was roughly 45 mins after the last dish was delivered. Completely unacceptable.
So if you looking for decent food, nice atmosphere and horrible service, I recommend going.

Only people in the restaurant. Staff was amazing I loved the suggestions our waitress made. The lobster mushroom egg rolls were very good. Main meal was pretty good. Wished they had more veggies in the main course gangus khan beef. Atmosphere was beautiful and elegant.
