I’ve been coming to eat at Jim’s since I was a baby! I’ve ALWAYS loved the fish nuggets! The fish is to die for! Cole slaw is a MUST! It’s sweet and delicious! Pictured is Fish Nuggets, Cole slaw, kale, and macaroni & cheese. Today was my first day having the Mac & cheese and it was creamy and so amazing. 10/10 recommend Jim’s to anyone and everyone! 🙂

A Huntington Staple With Classic Down-Home Cooking

Jim’s Steak and Spaghetti House is truly a Huntington staple—one of those iconic spots you have to visit at least once. The vibe is classic, nostalgic, and comforting, with that old-school charm you just can’t fake.

I ordered the steak this time, but honestly, I should’ve gone with the spaghetti—the dish everyone knows and loves here. The food is simple, no-frills, down-home cooking with light, familiar flavors. The sides and rolls fit perfectly with the style of the place.

If you’re looking for a traditional, throwback dining experience with honest, straightforward food, Jim’s is exactly that. A must-visit for the history and the hometown feel.

Great food and service in a very unique location. The spaghetti, cole slaw, and desserts are delicious. Lots of customers that are local folks which says a lot about what kind of place this is. Not far off the interstate, plenty of parking, definitely worth checking out if you are in the area and get some sauce to go!

A quaint local diner/restaurant with tons of history. Simple menu, simple food, great service, high quality, nice portions, and great prices. Homemade specialties and desserts. The place has remained constant and consistent for many years.

Jim’s Steak and Spaghetti House is exceptional in every sense. The food is outstanding, consistently well prepared, and deeply satisfying, whether you are there for steak, pasta, or anything in between.
Service is friendly, fast, and professional, striking that rare balance of efficiency and warmth that makes you feel genuinely welcome rather than rushed.
The historical character of the restaurant adds real depth to the experience. This is not just a place to eat, it is a piece of Huntington’s living history. The fact that it is a James Beard Award winner is completely deserved and evident in both quality and execution.
There are no cons to speak of. This is one of the best restaurants in Huntington and very possibly the best overall. An absolute must visit.

Staff is friendly but it took a nearly an hour to get two small speghetti’s which is supose to be the restaurants staple. When we received our food it did not taste good but we were so hungry we suffered through it. The sauce was beyond bland and watery. The atmosphere was fun in the sense its like an old timey diner with neat vintage decor. Im sure back in the day it was highly sought after place. I appreciate the food prices remained cheap for older crowds and those who need it but the food was just not to our liking at all. We wish them the best but won’t be returning.

Good eats, cheap. Great atmosphere, like going back in time to the 60’s – they still have a lunch counter. Clean, comfortable, pleasant decor.

Best Spaghetti and Cheese Ravioli EVER!! Except for my Sister’s of course. I always get the 1/2 and 1/2 with Coke (No Ice) and a slice of Apple Pie. I could be having the worst day ever, and eating at Jim’s is an instant mood pleaser. I highly recommend this establishment from the food, to the wonderful service!!

Quaint place to eat. I had the fish and coleslaw with a side of spaghetti as I wasn’t sure if the spaghetti was going to be something I’d like. Omg that sauce is off the chain! Fish and coleslaw were good but man, that spaghetti! I will definitely order the spaghetti as a main course next time. Service was great and dessert was delish.
