Hamburger is one of the best around. It tastes like when my grandmother made me a burger. Their hamburger horseshoe is amazing. The cheese sauce actually has flavor. Their sweet tea is super sweet, just the way I like it. Reminds me of the good old southern sweet tea of my youth. Breakfast is always good here as well. If you are wanting something classy this isn’t the place for you. It is the local dive joint that has good service and great food. Some might say it is a bit pricey, but you can’t have everything.

I’ve been going to Jim’s since a kid it’s not what it used to be. The service is slow took an hour and a half for biscuits and gravy omelette and some hash browns. Little did I know but everything is frozen nothing is fresh. The waitress overheard us talking amongst our table about the slow service and was very rude and jumped into our conversation. Claimed that they were super busy but yet all the tables weren’t even filled. We usually sit in the back room however it’s very cold in there.

I was there recently. The service was great, even though they were shorthanded. The biscuit was fluffy and perfect, the gravy was short on sausage, the sausage patties hard and over cooked, hash browns greasy, eggs small and overcooked. Looks like the entrance area (foyer) hasn’t been cleaned in decades. Big disappointment.
