The first time we were trying JIM’s! The service was fantastic! I tried the Spanish Dog with sauce, onions, cheese, and a shredded chicken sandwich. Others in our group had the steak, onion, mozzarella sandwich, and the 1/4 cheeseburger with everything. We also ordered fries. The folks who had the Root Beer say it’s the best they’ve ever had, including the Root Beer float. You can eat in your car or sit on one of their two picnic tables. This is a Cash Only place, but the prices are very reasonable! The service was fantastic and friendly! And the food was out quickly! Now we can say we’ve tried a Spanish Dog from Jim’s!

Very fun! I can eat the hot dogs cause they are all beef! The home made rootbeer is the best. Please add it to the list you can pick google maps.

The fries are delicious loaded and plain. Spanish dogs are also very good!
You can sit at the picnic tables or you can sit in your car and eat.

Great first experience! Days before the fair, I stopped by on my way home from work. The girls car hopping were pleasant and informative, and the service was fast and fresh. The fries stuck out more than anything, being cooked to PERFECTION!

I’ve been visiting this establishment since 1994 (wow! That is 31 years!).
I don’t believe that I have EVER had a negative experience @ JIM’S DRIVE-IN.
The food has always been very, very good, and the CAR HOPS here has always been polite and helpful!
My only regret is that I’ve moved about 3 hours away, so I don’t get there to eat as often as I’d like!

You have to be joking to serve something that taste like the “hot beef” and then have everything else on your menu be great. I legitimately regret eating this sandwich. it tasted so bad I felt sick it ruined my entire day. Great root beer though!

We only ordered Spanish hot dogs. They are good, but the dogs are mushy. You’ll find no snap here. If that’s what you like, this is a fine place for you!

Jim’s reminds me of the old root beer stand of my youth. The Spanish dogs are always tasty, but I can’t get past having one to experience the rest of the menu! When I go to Jim’s, it’s for Spanish dogs and a large root beer. Yummy!

Good old Midwest drive-in food. The food was okay. Nothing special, the atmosphere made up for okay food. The fries were awesome. Crunchy, hot, and salty. Service was a bit slow but I think it was opening day and they were training done new girls. So a lot going on. All in all, not bad. Not amazing but not bad.
