Operated by Mission Language and Vocational School (MLVS), we serve classic American comfort food while training the next generation of culinary professionals. This is an old school diner run by Kim and her husband. If you like mimosas, Kim has a nice large glass for you. (they come in 2 sizes) Wings were crispy. Steak, egg and home fries were good. The steak had more fat than I like. My coffee cup was always full. Kim runs the front of the house and is such a wonderful person.

Kim and her husband are the best! This is my favorite breakfast diner in San Francisco. The food is always amazing and the service is perfection. Kim is the most kind and genuine server ever. I recently moved back to the area and had a hankering for Jim’s this restaurant is immaculately clean. The floor’s literally sparkle & The service is friendly,
But with the new ownership, the quality and portions of the food have gone way down, I had the Club & My friend had the cheeseburger, I honestly probably could’ve made the same quality at home & I paid $50 after tip,
I will not be returning to Jim’s anymore.

We were a group of 6 adults plus 2 loud & restless toddlers. We were immediately greeted like family and seated in a spacious booth that allowed us to corral the kids. We quickly had coffee, ice water and orange juice (& 2 to-go cups with lids for toddler juice). Mrs. Kim knows our son who stops in frequently and was excited to meet his family. The famous green hot & garlicky sauce came out with the second pour of coffee, quickly followed by our steaming hot eggs, hash browns & various salty breakfast meats. Topped with the green sauce and a third cup of coffee, it was delish. One of us had the corned beef hash that was excellent, especially with green sauce. Did I mention how great the green sauce is?!

I’ve been coming here for many many years since I was a little girl, came here plenty of times with my grandparents and I have been super happy with the service and food, now that they sold it to different people it’s changed, I’m happy they decided to keep the cook guy cause he’s been here for many years and I love his cooking, customer service is different it’s not organized or welcoming, my order was incorrect and I spoke to the lady in Spanish as she was struggling with English, the French fries are not the same when previous owners were working here, the fries now look of old cheap quality it was nasty and my milkshake was not the same it was super watery and it tasted like medicine, it’s pretty upsetting as the prices are higher then the previous owners. I think the only reason why I decide to give the new owners a second chance was cause of the cook guy, he’s a very sweet man he’s a hard worker, but seems like food quality is cheap

Good food, staff very friendly and they would recommend if you can’t decide what to eat. We had the Bulgogi dish with rices and 2 eggs, pancakes with 2 eggs and 2 sausage patties! Yum!
