The dining area is dark, and the dated decor doesn’t help. The order process was ok, but from there it was all downhill. They didn’t bring the food to my table as they do in other similar hamburger restaurants. The food prices are too high. The cheeseburger was tasteless; it had a thick slice of tomato, thicker than the meat, probably to make the burger appear big. The bun was old and falling apart in my hands. The fries are the worst I’ve had at a burger restaurant.

I was craving a good burger and fries, but Bell HS had just let out, and BLVD burgers was probably going to be inundated with kids so I decided to take a turn and try out Jim’s Burgers.
This was not enjoyable at all.
The fries were very bland, and half the bag was soggy. I tried to add flavor by dipping in 1000 island, but that was not great either.
The burger itself lacked flavor and included a really thick piece of tomato, which ended up falling out. The bun was ok, but that’s it.
Overall, this will be my first and last time here. The only positive I can provide is the attentative lady who was working the dining area. She went around asking customers if they needed anything and, at some point, gave everyone lollipops.
A ploy to gain points? Maybe…….

Raised in this area and I had to come back to a treasured place. After 10+ yrs of not having it. Its still amazing! More importantly the restaurant is the same. Except they removed the 2 arcade games. But other than that everything is still the same. All the vintage pictures are still around the walls and the tables are exactly as i remember. Food is still great!
