We booked Jimmy’s Place in July.
This place was the perfect location for a family dinner. My husband and I had a civil ceremony earlier that day and arranged a family style dinner afterwards to celebrate. Jimmy was amazing, and made us feel so comfortable. Loved the menu, attention to detail, service. They went above and beyond to accommodate us. The vibe of the place is i primate and old Chicago. The food was hit with our guest. Everyone loved the pizza. Perfect place for dinner or to celebrate with family and friends.

I’ve lived in the area for a couple years, but i never ordered from jimmys, as there were so many other options that I already knew
However, there were tons of giod reviews, so i decided to give it a shot
I ordered pickup, and waited perhaps 2-3 minutes when I arrived
I got the plain cheese to better judge the quality of the pizza
When I got it back home, it was still nice and hot, amy I dug in
The crust was the perfect mix of chewy and crispy, the cheese the was flavorful and the sauce was flavorful
I’m going to have to come back to try the other items, as they really seem to know what they’re doing!

We hosted a baby shower in the party room at Jimmy’s Place. Jimmy and the staff were extremely accommodating and easy to work with. They allowed us to come early and set up decorations and helped set up the space for what we wanted. We added a few extra appetizers and an open bar to the basic package and it was a great value for the quality. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Guests were very impressed with the calamari, pizza, and handmade pasta. The desserts were SO good. The staff packed up leftovers so guests could take them on their way out. The whole team did a great job at helping us make a customized family event memorable and with as little stress as possible.

Good place for dinner. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful. There were a couple little things that were a little off, such as the angel hair pasta was a bit overcooked along with the chicken, and the pizza was a bit bland. However, the service was friendly and really personable, you can tell that a lot of the locals eat here. The ambiance is relaxing and the portions are huge.

One of these days, I’ll dine in but today running around in the rain, literally finishing up my Christmas shopping I craved so homemade Italian cooking and Jimmy’s Place did not disappoint. Great communication, fast delivery and the food was just what I needed.
I ordered the Rotini w/Fresh Tomato Basil Sauce, Sausage and Spinach. Enough for dinner tonight and tomorrow.

Great neighborhood restaurant and bar. Jimmy’s the food is basic Chicago Italian food which is both very good and reasonably priced. The decore is not fancy, but there is a friendly vibe. Families with kids are welcome.

I have been coming here since my T-ball baseball parties in the 90’s. The cavatelli with vodka sauce is my favorite go to. The side of garlic bread and meatballs are a must. Also the chicken ceaser salad was nicely dressed. We came on a busy night with a few parties and live music ( who was outstanding by the way).
