Absolutely fabulous as always. It’s always delicious, the picky toddler enjoys it. Always worth the wait. This is my favorite childhood restaurant and I’m so glad I get to bring my kids here now. Love it!!

This place is a staple in the community but definitely has a consistency issue. Sometimes it’s awesome sometimes it’s not…. Sometimes you get 100% of a pizza sometimes you get 75% pizza 25% crust. Pictures say it all. The parts with toppings are great but your left looking for the rest. On top of that it’s not at all unusual to wait quite a while for the food beyond their expected time.

The service is always high school or college kids left unsupervised. The atmosphere is 1980s? And I love it. It wouldn’t be Jimmy’s Grotto without the whole experience, and this is an experience. Get one or two bites into your ponza and you’ll understand what I mean. Order ahead of time. I keep forgetting to do that and wait like 20 minutes in the grotto. Also eat it there or eat it close. Ponzas are best fresh.

The restaurant dining area is nothing special but our ponzas were fabulous! Get the extra sauce. Pizza good too.

The Ponza is where it’s at. It’s a huge portion normally needing to take half of it home.

I have not been here for many years but always remembered the special Ponza Rotta so I stopped back for a lunch treat. I was NOT disappointed!! The size is HUGE! The Taste is HUGE! The price for the deluxe is stupid cheap. The place is clean and kept up to great standards.
Many memories fade but Jimmy’s is a classic and should be added to the star list of local restaurants.

Absolutely atrocious!!! Can’t say a single good thing about the place. I don’t usually write reviews because nothing is ever that bad! Orders are ALWAYS wrong, even for a simple cheese ponzarotta. I like to give more than one try to a place BUT BOY OH BOY did they failed to deliver. Every. Single. Time. One time I even gotten a plastic food clip in my chicken salad and NO CHICKEN. Sometimes the lettuce is cut, sometimes it’s just a head of lettuce with nothing on it. Ok fine, the salad is not their thing…let’s try chicken tenders. I foolishly thought it would be better BUT OH NO, I’ve never in my life seen such a burnt to a crisp BLACK chicken tenders. Horrible. Ok, I thought one bad day…maybe they mixed it up with the trash. Let’s try the famous ponzarotta…something simple, like cheese! I was very perplexed when inside on it the cheese was not even melted and it looked like they had to scramble and get the cheese from the back of someone’s fridge, or perhaps a leftover happy meal. Discussed, I’ve tried one last time and once more they failed. The order was straight up forgotten…or perhaps given away.
I will never be subjected to such horrific payed experience. If I could I would leave 0 stars. Save yourself the trouble and get food somewhere else.

Been 8 months bc we were disappointed with the last PonzaRotta. Didn’t appear drained of the grease & fell apart. Even requested extra crispy. Same order today. Same results greasy & feel apart. They said ready in 25 minutes. I was early 10 minutes early & it was already on the shelf in a styrofoam container steaming the crispness into a hot soggy mess.

Been going here for many years. Love their Ponzas. Update. I went on 3-8-2025. It was the worst Ponza I ever had. Over cooked, and it tasted like it was cooked in very old oil. I will still keep going, hoping it’s a one time thing.
