The food here is really good. The only negative is that it closes at 2 PM. It’s mostly breakfast place but there’s eight or so lunch options that are excellent as well. The waffles were amazing as were the club sandwiches. Our server was amazing and kept our drinks filled and hustled around like we were her only table.

The food was excellent, and the wait staff was polite and courteous. Sitting at the counter allowed me to watch the cook in action—100% credit goes to this dedicated team for their precision and diligence in preparing each dish. We stopped here for lunch because it was easy to get to from the gas station we fueled at. What a great surprise. An upbeat, energetic place for breakfast and lunch items. We had the Southwest quesadilla salad and Very Veggie Omelette. Enjoyed both. I have to mention the coffee mugs! They are the best comfort fit in your hands. We wanted to purchase them to take home but unfortunately they are temporarily unavailable. We might have to purchase a franchise to get some mugs LOL. Lisa provided excellent service and was very welcoming. We will be looking to return to Jimmy’s Egg when we find one in our travels.

Decided to have breakfast here for Mother’s Day and we had a great time. The waitress was awesome! This was our first time at Jimmy’s egg and we were not disappointed. The pancakes and the French toast were delicious. The steak omelette was really good too. Definitely a great place for a delicious meal.

I went with a group of 5 adults and 1 child. The older couple had been here before and suggested it as they liked it. My boyfriend said his food was only okay but he didnt go into detail. His sister’s eggs werent cooked how she asked for them to be cooked, so she didnt eat them. My fried potatoes were soft… but no where near fried. Even kinda wet from grease. The blt I ordered was really tasty but there was either so much mayo, or the bacon was really greasy when put on the bread, that my hands were so gross I had to snag a few extra napkins. Very yummy tho.
Its worth it to check it out, at least.

They do everything right, it’s just not fantastic. The service is above average, the bacon is excellent, hash browns are cooked properly, the atmosphere is good and clean. Nothing to complain about.

I loved this place. It was my husband’s 1st time here. He usually doesn’t like to eat at places he is not familiar with. We were on our way home from Branson and Chiefs were playing. He was listening on radio, but was willing to stop. To our surprise they had the game on. The food was great. Also the service, customers and it was very reasonable and clean. If I could give a 10, I would. We will be stopping again on our way through Springfield Mo.

First time here, it was fantastic! Arrived around 11am, tables had a bit of wait time so we (2) sat at the bar. We were impressed with the communication of the staff team as we had a view of the kitchen, seemed to run smoothly. Our waitress was fabulous, everyone was kind and caring. Left around 11:45am. A++

Went for a visit to Springfield and decided to eat at Jimmy’s it was funny because the food didn’t appear appealing. However, don’t judge a plate by the look! The food was wonderful and reasonable! A must-try breakfast place! Our waitress was great as well!
