First time there! You could tell there were many sweet regulars there, too! Our food and service were great! Right when we walked in the door, they welcomed us and let us know we can go pick our table. Lots on the menu to choose from! Our server was great, he was happy to be there, happy to serve us and overall a great person to engage with! We met Jimmy, himself as he came around checking in on how we were doing! Sweet guy. Very fun!

Found this little gem while traveling through the area. The staff were attentive and friendly. It was cute to hear them chatting with customers who seem to be regulars.
My salad was good, with tender chicken pieces and lots of fresh tomatoes. I also ordered a small cup of chicken and dumplings that we both loved!
My husband’s chicken was boasted and delicious!! He said “the skin was crispy and delicate and the meat was juicey”. Oh…and the french fries were especially good too!!

Super friendly service. Seated right away on a later Saturday morning. About 5-6 total parties seated. Got coffee right away and ordered when the coffee was served. Great portion sizes and food was good. Tables and booths were clean. Jelly was organized by flavor!!! Love that. ❤️ Would definitely recommend without hesitation.

We honestly didn’t know what to expect from Jimmy’s, but we took a chance and I’m sure glad we did! It’s a great little American dinner. I initially had their classic burger and fries (don’t want to take risks on a new place) and it was really good. Cooked just the way I wanted, the staff was responsive, friendly, and non-intrusive. I was pleasantly surprised by my experience there.
I’ve been back several times now… it’s our go-to spot for casual dining in Dodgeville. The chicken salad (pictured) is great and so are the skillets (also pictured) and come with great pancakes… I think they have vanilla added to them… really tasty! The service is good, the atmosphere is very casual, and the food tastes great… a good value for the money. All of my experiences there have been positive. The menu has a lot of variety (steaks and seafood, soups & salads, burgers and sandwiches, dinners, sides and desserts).

This is your classic American Diner. Food was prepared by the owner and was hot and fast and good! Service was super friendly and made you feel at home. Would recommend as a nice place to sit and enjoy your breakfast!

Delicious! The burger my other half ordered was cooked medium rare just as he ordered . I ordered a blt , and they did not skimp on the nice thick cut bacon , and a nice thick tomato slice! The onion rings were perfectly sweet , definitely never frozen . We only wished we lived closer , we would eat here more often ! The waitress was wonderful and we loved that the owner was there to bring us to our table .

Great small town diner ,the food was ok a bit greasy but good service was good too ,very kind and attentive waitress always making sure we had everything we needed the place looks like it used to be a big chain restaurant in its past life all in all would recommend if you want some home style meals the pricing was very fair IMO and portions were decent will come back on my next trip to “governor dodge”.(Get yourself the country fried steak )

Awesome little diner! We had the house sampler appetizer, soooo good! Philly, bacon cheeseburger, French dip and Reuben were excellent! We would definitely stop again next time we’re here!
