Got there at noon and they were sold out of a few things so if you want something specific get there early when they open – we wanted to try a few things so that wasn’t a big deal for us, we’ll go back next time to try those things. we got brisket, pulled pork, sausage, okra, mac and cheese, cabbage, and shrimp – the shrimp were my favorite. Everything came out steaming hot, seasoned, and juicy. The staff were super nice, and the location on the water makes for a great lunch. Very affordable too we only spent about $50 for all of that meat and a pound of shrimp and sides.

Lovely location on the water plenty of sceneries. Food is outstanding, the service is adequate. There is outdoor seating and indoor seating as well. Parking is tight here. Great comfort and the ambience is good. There is live music entertainment. It is very beautiful spot and well worth a look!

Kind of a weird situation. There’s a redneck bar with ashtrays and next to it is a shack that sells BBQ.
Got the combo. Ribs were ok. The 1/4 chicken was just slices of chicken with some spices on it. Not what I thought I was ordering. The brisket was dry.
The fries were nothing special and the Mac and cheese was more spice than cheese. The texas toast was OK at best.
They don’t have drinks, you have to order those at the bar. Didn’t want to sit inside the bar due to the smell but we were attacked by flies outside.
There was hardly anyone therr during lunchtime which should have been a big red flag.
Apparently the previous owners sold the place a year or so ago. Its now called Smoke on the River so I guess a lot of the good reviews are from the previous place.

I called for a pick up order and I’m upset I didn’t stay to dine in. The location is right along the water, and the prices are outstanding!! The food was a hit with my entire family. Along with a homemade feel and super fresh ingredients.
After one visit, These guys have 100% found a new local and loyal customer in myself.
Can’t wait to go back this weekend!

Nice place, we went for lunch, brisket and a pulled pork sandwich. Large portions, a good value. No collards today was a disappointment. Coleslaw the way I like it, not too juicy. Brisket is slow cooked, not smoked, very good and with such a large portion they’re not bashful with serving the fat with it, fat’s the best part. Sides were fries and bean… good, OK, nothing especially special.
Put the BBQ together with the Beer Shed next door….amazing Ol’ Florida… I hope this place lasts, right on the river.

My bestfriend and I came by tonight. The food was great! We had the jalepano poppers, fried green tomatoes, smoked wings, pulled pork, corn fritters, collards, mac and cheese, and baked beans… sooo much great food!!! We had to get to go boxes for everything. The serving sizes will fill you up! Service was amazing and we even got to sample the ribs… such a great BBQ gem right on the river! We sat outside on the deck… the river was peaceful. Met James and told him that we will be back!

This was a fun, hidden gem right by the river and accompanied by the Beer Shed. The beef brisket had incredible flavor and for the price, it was some of the best we’ve had. The coleslaw was also a nice side dish to mix. The staff were friendly. We loved the laidback atmosphere of the place. The weather was great for sitting out by the water.
