My sandwich is always really good- made well and with fresh ingredients. I would say the staff can be somewhat rude and short at times— they are of a younger generation so maybe that’s why… This is why I rated service low. But I still go here because the sandwiches are really good!

I absolutely love this Jimmy John’s, first and foremost The general manager is extraordinary! He really cares about his customers. I work down the street in the office of AAA corporate and sometimes have to order my food while teaching a class. I’ll never forget him calling me personally to tell me that they were swamped and that in order to get my food to me on time that they would pay UBER to bring it to me. I couldn’t believe he went so far out of his way to do that. I was so impressed I started going into the store instead of ordering delivery, and the employees were the same. They took time with my food. The store was clean. Bathrooms were clean Customer Service always on point. I literally could go on and on and on. People usually take more time to post negativity, but when there’s an opportunity to post something positive, we should take just as much time to do so. I just want say… Jimmy John’s on Main Street in Virginia Beach you guys set the bar and you rock and it’s appreciatedthank you so much for the great Customer Service that you all exemplify every single day. This place rocks! Customer friendly staff. You order your sandwich and it’s done in a couple minutes. Has to be the fastest sandwich shop I’ve ever been to, and their subs are always delicious. The place is well maintained including the restrooms.

I’m a Jimmy Johns fan, I love their bread and everything they do. I used to live in the Hilltop area and now live near the Norfolk Airport, and I can say with absolute confidence that compared to this location, they are run like a horse mashing its head into a post. I can’t always make it out to this location, I have to settle for a nearby Subway when I have a sandwich fixing, but this location has the upmost respect and customer service I’ve seen outside of a Chik Fila. I’m not joking, they really try to make things right. I have been burned by a location at the oceanfront, I have been burned by every other location, but this one seems to be one staffed with caring and amazing people, having fun and doing right by their customers. It’s always a joy to visit and next time I have the money and the transportation, I will make a stop in. It’s silly how out of every Jimmy Johns I have ever gone to, this is not only the location I have had they only good experiences with, but exceptional experiences nonetheless.

I don’t like giving negative reviews, but this experience was strange. I think the two employees were playing the quiet game because neither said a word to me the whole time. I was the only person in the place and I still had to sit for 5 minutes to wait for my food, which was just handed to me without recognition of my presence. I’ve been to other Jimmy Johns that were super fast and the employees always polite. This place was just … disappointing. I don’t think I’ll be going back to this location.

Each times we have costed this location the drive through is always rushed, we’ve been unable to give an order with out being cut off and rudely asked is that all. Each time the which has been one piece of lettuce cause the meat to fall out and spill everywhere ruining the sandwich making it impossible to eat. When we have asked for another piece of lettuce to wrap the which it was told that’s not allowed. We would love to enjoy the experience here jimmy John’s is a favorite of ours so we look forward to better experiences at this location in the future
