I love jimmy John’s. Their food is great service is great. However today I ordered and it looks like they changed their delivery and now outsources to Uber. My order took over an hour due to the uber driver having multiple stops and taking 30 min to pick up my order. I hope Jimmy John’s switches back to their own drivers.

My wife and I usually order delivery while we work from home or are in meetings, and recently deliveries have taken longer and longer. Failing to meet the previous “Freaky Fast” delivery promise, most often caused by using third-party delivery such as Uber. If you’re in the delivery area, don’t order delivery, pick it up yourself and save the 30-40 minute wait for 5 minutes or less of travel.

Orders are often messed up, and freshness of ingredients is hit and miss. Had an issue with missing ingredient (avocado, $2 up charge here), tried following up 15 days ago with jimmy johns, got a canned response from corporate and crickets from the actual store. I had to follow up a second time since I heard nothing after two weeks and on the second follow up I was offered a $2 coupon that expires in 60 days to try my luck here again, no thanks. Would have preferred to have at least some bare minimum customer service that corrected the mistake instead, at least a refund since money was taken for product that was not given. With record inflation and prices here skyrocketing you’d think customer service would be a priority, but guess not. If you like roulette I say give this place a shot, close to 50/50 you’ll get what you ordered & the house always wins.
Quick update: the method below is how I initially reached out before the google review. Another week has gone by and still crickets from the owner. I noticed googled gained a response in less than 24 hours. Kind of makes the google responses from the owner seem disingenuous. Disappointing.

I order from Jimmy John’s regularly, sometimes once or twice a month. Unfortunately, accuracy continues to be a problem. Most recently, I ordered 5 sandwiches, and one was specifically requested without lettuce or tomato. Despite entering this clearly online, it arrived with lettuce. This is not the first time this has happened.
When I’ve called in the past, the response has been to remake the sandwich if I want to drive back and pick it up. That’s unacceptable when I’ve already paid for delivery and tipped the driver. Offering a credit for a future order also doesn’t solve the immediate problem — it doesn’t fix the sandwich sitting in front of me that my guest can’t eat because it has toppings he don’t like.
Jimmy John’s promotes fast and convenient service, but if customizations can’t be handled consistently, it defeats the purpose. Accuracy with orders isn’t an “extra” — it’s a basic expectation. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves attention to detail, because loyal customers shouldn’t have to cross their fingers that their order is made correctly.

What a terrible experience. I’m in my first trimester of pregnancy, and I can’t keep anything down for the past two weeks. So I finally found this place and I’ve been able to eat the Italian night club if I swap the salami with turkey, and they’ve done it for me every time..without a hassle.
I work clear in Albany and live in Woodburn, I had to come home early, I was to nauseated to work, and haven’t eaten since the night before, so around 130pm, i went through the drive through, and they absolutely refused to swap the meat, I said they’ve done it before, I told them it hasn’t been an issue before, I also mentioned I am pregnant, that I can’t keep anything down, and I started to get emotional because I’m not only hungry, but I start to feel like I’m never going to be able to eat. The thought of salami makes me want to vomit, I started to cry, I asked for their names, so I could report it to management, and they wouldn’t give me any names to report to management, the girl said rudely “I don’t have to give you my name” then I asked for a manager, and it was silent, so again I asked for names, if they had any names, she again told me she didn’t have to give it to me. At this moment I’m emotional, pregnant, and really disappointed in how I’m being treated, I have spent the past two weeks ordering the same sandwich from them, this how the youth treat people now days? Jeeeeez I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE if the woman with the crossed arms is someone “in charge” she was by far the worst. I can tell she’s never had morning sickness that lasts weeks on end…. and the harm in not eating can result me into the emergency room and harm the baby as well…
Not to mention I’ve also worked in the service industry and it’s mandatory to give customer service, and it’s just basic humanity to make extra attempts to those who are elderly, younger children, and pregnant woman. This woman however lacked every attribute when it comes to customer service. All the other employees have been sweet to me until today, she by far was the worst.
I also carry a dash cam if the owner wants to listen in on this employee and how she treats your customers.

We were planning on going in and eating a yummy sandwich. Once we entered this establishment, we were hit with max volume hard-core screaming metal music… I don’t even know how to describe it. No part of me wanted to have to endure another moment of that “music”. So we got it to go. Not very inviting and I can’t imagine the owner would appreciate that. When 4 grown adults are working the shift, you would think 1 of them would realize it’s too loud and a terrible choice. It was so loud, we couldn’t even talk to each other while we waiting for the food…. won’t be returning for sure.

I ordered a GIANT club Lulu with a cookie and a drink. What I got was the driver forgetting my drink, then when I asked about the size of the sandwich, she said I take what I am given.
I called the store, spoke to the manager, I let her know the sandwich I received was a little John’s, not a normal size, and not the giant I ordered. She said she made that sandwich herself and was not a little johns. Let her know that I do know the difference between the two sandwiches. Then she asked if I ate the sandwich, I said half as I’m hungry (its 330 pm) The manager told me to not eat the other half and she would have the driver bring me a 8 in. I asked why an 8 if I ordered a giant? I finally just said fine as I’m hungry and told her I wouldn’t order from there again.
The driver came back with my sandwich and looked at the one I was given and agreed, it was a little John, she then went out and got another half of my sandwich.
Yes, they made it better, but due to poor management, I will not go to the Woodburn Jimmy Johns again, but the delivery driver was great!!
