This was my first visit. I ordered a simple ham and cheese sandwich with lettuce and tomato. Before I finished paying my sandwich was ready. The bread was very fresh and exceptionally tasty. The ham and cheese were perfect. The lettuce and tomato fresh. I was very pleased! Highly recommend Jimmy John’s.

Jimmy John’s is by far the best submarine Sandwich place in all of Los Angeles county. You can’t beat how fresh their lettuce, rolls and just over all food is. Wish there was one closer to us in South Hermosa. They absolutely gouge you when you add a drink and a chips. I would just skip them, as they want close to $6 to make it a quote-unquote meal.

I decided to try and grab lunch today at Jimmy John’s in the Ocean Gate area. The establishment itself was nice. As for the service, well that’s another story. I ordered my food and sat down. Wasn’t in a rush by far. But at the same time, I didn’t think that I would have to go and look for my food either. After about 10 minutes of waiting I realized that everyone had walked out the restaurant or went to the back. Customer service definitely not a focus here. At this point I just asked for a refund. One of the other worker’s found my sandwiches just sitting off to the side. No one ever called my number or informed me that they were ready. They definitely need to do better…

I drive 3.9 miles just to go to this particular jimmy johns for a reason. The food is always fresh and the staff is always super nice and my order is always right! The crew on last night’s shift was exceptional. They worked so well together. And their customer service was A1. I love to see it.
