Immediately upon opening the door to enter, I was met with a warm greeting from behind the counter. This was very welcoming, of course. As I approached the counter, I observed the place to be very clean and fresh smelling, too. These were all major pluses for me.
Looking up, I began to scour the menu, to which I immediately saw a menu item that filled my heart with a warm fuzzy feeling . Yes, it was the “back east spicy Italian” cold sub. So I didn’t hesitate to order that. Mmm.. it was true to its name. I savored every bite.
I would most certainly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fresh quick and delicious meal.

I placed an order for a vegetarian sandwich on 2/27/2026 for dinner pickup at 8:40 PM. When I got home and opened my order, I discovered it contained meat — a serious mistake, especially for customers with dietary restrictions or beliefs.
I drove back to the store to have it corrected. While they did replace the sandwich, there was absolutely no apology, no acknowledgment of the error, and the staff member didn’t say a single word. The complete lack of customer service made an already frustrating situation much worse.
Getting the order wrong is one thing — it happens. But the indifferent attitude from staff when handling a complaint is unacceptable. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses both the order accuracy and the customer service training. Unfortunately, this experience has lost you a customer.

Whoever was working February 15th, 2026 at around 6:30pm were insanely rude to me when I was picking up an order for my wife. 3 guys sitting down, not even working, weren’t behind the counter. Laughed at me as soon as I walked in, had the audacity to directly make eye contact and laugh, and when I walked to the counter to ask for an order pick up, they wouldn’t even say anything, they got up, went behind the counter, and just pointed at the wall. I was incredibly uncomfortable. I’m an Asian man and I guess that’s funny to them? I tried to be polite and say thanks and they burst out laughing. Unprofessional, rude. Won’t be going back. Fix your staff.

The food wasn’t prepared well at all and the manager Dawson was very rude! The bacon on some of our sandwiches wasn’t done so we had to further cook it and some only had ONE slice of turkey on them. I asked if I could buy slices of cheese since I forgot to add it to my sandwich when I went to pickup my order and was told no, since they had no way of “keying” it into the system. Mind you, I spent $60 on sandwiches so you’d think as courtesy, they would just give me some slices. I’ve never been so disappointed in a sandwich in my life. I’ll definitely continue to drive to the location in Mesquite.

Well they say Jimmy John’s is freaky fast… and they weren’t kidding! As I work close by, tried them today even though it is their first day open. I placed my order in the app and hit send, 5-6 mins later I was inside the store and my order was bagged and tagged sitting on the shelf for pickup already! I’ve eaten at other JJ’s before and the food is fresh and the sandwich was delicious as expected. The staff was very welcoming, and obviously quick! I’ll be back soon again for convenience to my work and good food for reasonable pricing. I recommend checking out Forney’s newest sandwich shop.

We ordered delivery for office meeting at our plumbing company here in Forney. The food was great, but what was even more impressive is they missed a call from us, called us back to make sure we were taken care of, and apologized they didn’t get my phone call due to being busy. On top of that, 2 brownies and a bag of chips were missing, I told him it was okay he could refund it. The manager brought the missing items personally to our company and apologized in person. Customer service is everything, we all make mistakes but it is what you learn from it and how you make it right. They will continue to get our repeat business!

For a place that touts freaky fast subs, this was the slowest 2 moving people I have ever seen put condiments on bread. ZERO sense of urgency and 2 people walked out. Very slow.
