We regularly order from this specific Jimmy John’s and 99.9% they kill it. Yeah, they might forget a side here and there in a delivery order but accidents happen, days are long, it’s fine. HOWEVER- tonight was a first. My fiancé ordered one of their new box lunch things and in it was a pickle spear. But not only did he not order it (initially I thought it was the pickle I ordered, it wasn’t, I got my pickle) but it also came in… a ziplock bag??? Just, an ordinary, unlabeled ziplock bag???? Like, I’m not mad. But I am WILDLY confused. Huh? What? Why????

Jimmy John’s is a nice sandwich shop and the food is always prepared fresh to order and quickly. I like that this location has a drive-thru. I like that there is a vegetarian option, but I wish there were more options for vegetarians.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been somewhere and felt like I was in pre-Covid times. My hubby n I ate here yesterday…. The gentlemen that work here are so nice, so pleasant, and very customer service driven. You’re greeted as soon as you walk through the door, they get your order right and they’re listening for any changes you want made to your sandwich. At the end they make sure to say goodbye and wish you a good day. Even hearing the interactions with other customers and how accommodating they were, it was so refreshing to watch. I usually don’t make reviews on fast food restaurants, but I felt like I needed to. Their restrooms are actually very clean (I do this thing where I checked the bathroom when I eat somewhere, it gives me insight to how clean the kitchen is. It’s my weird thing).
All in all, I just felt like the gentlemen that were working there yesterday reserved recognition! They’re doing a great job and I’m bummed that we live too far to frequent this specific Jimmy John’s

Placed a pick up order on 4-17. Told the only girl there my name. It was ready to go and I said, oh great, thanks. She didn’t say anything. Didn’t even smile. Handed it to me and walked away. Some people shouldn’t be in a customer service job. Shed be better suited for a morgue. I’ll either order delivery or go out of my way to pick up at the arterial address.

Update: returned a few weeks after the instance and things were back to normal and delicious
“Sam” checked us out, and she was absolutely rude and was complaining of being sick to her coworkers in-front of us while checking us out. We placed our order and proceeded to wait. Another two people came up to order and she was energized and sociable, which was super confusing and frustrating. We ordered two subs, chips and a potato salad (she rang that in wrong – bow tie pasta instead). We didn’t receive that side and we didn’t notice till we were home, which it wasn’t worth us going back at that point. Usually have had good service and good quality. However this time was really awful and frustrating including the missing item.

This is specific to the JFK location haven’t been there in awhile but I’m not very happy with my experience! When I request extra lettuce that means extra lettuce not a light sprinkle. My wife’s kicken ranch chicken wrap was very light on meat. The guy wrapping sandwiches was playing on his cell phone. That’s disgusting. Don’t allow your workers to play on there phone or I’m going to point it out on here every time!!!!

Sam and his crew did an outstanding job with the catering order for our soccer team. He made our pre-order experience so easy! Sam was so friendly on the phone and very willing to accommodate our large order. Each bag was labeled with the player’s name. They were ready to go early, and Sam even helped us load them in our vehicle. Definitely deserves 5 stars!

You couldn’t have asked for better prices, amazing staff and a cleaner environment. I love going to Jimmy John’s with my boyfriend whenever we get hungry for something that’s not greasy, always fresh and I’ve never had an order that was made incorrectly, the best in Dubuque!

We had a large order for staff. I ordered the #11. The country club. What I got was a sandwich with guacamole, cucumbers, cheese, lettuce and mayo. No meat. The description says nothing about cucumbers or guacamole. But seriously, how do you forget the meat!?! So, thanks for nothing Jimmie John’s. No lunch for me today.

I love Jimmy Johns and the food is always great, but the reason why I am giving it 3 stars is because the delivery times have been taking over for me. I understand that lunch hour is a busy time, but it takes them anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour to have my food delivered… it is never freaky fast for me. Like ever. I will continue to support this location, but you guys need to be quicker about your delivery. I don’t want to be difficult.
