When Randy and Marleen Duren sat down and created Hair of the Dog, LLC they wanted to build a cozy neighborhood bar that provided quality locally made beverages and snacks, and was also completely dog friendly. The Duren’s love having a few laughs with friends and family over a glass of wine or a couple of pints, and they also love including their four-legged family in those gatherings whenever it’s possible

We absolutely love thisnplace. Always great beer on rotation. The staff is very chill and they love dogs! A huge plus for us. They have trivia nights, board games, patio, and delicious food trucks on rotation. Thanks crew for ice cold beer and a great environment.

Serendipitous….car was being serviced a mile away….their selections were mostly off the beaten path, thankful for that, some of the breweries I knew, but not the beer from them, and several breweries new to me. Server (Amanda?) also recommended a few taprooms that I added to my ‘need to visit’ list. These little slices of heaven waiting to be found….

What a great spot! It’s a very cozy and casual place to hang out. They even take reservations for up to 12 people. I went with a group of friends and had such a fun time. You order at the counter from their drink menu of wine, beer, and coffee. They also have a cooler to grab canned beers and seltzers of your choice. I got a mango tangerine seltzer from the cooler and they gave me a glass of ice too. It was refreshing and light!
You can also buy light snacks like cheese and cracker board, beef jerky, popcorn and nut snacks. They even sell doggie treats and although I didn’t see any dogs when I was there, I was told doggies are welcome inside and they even provide doggie beds and water bowls! There was a food truck outside to order food from and also a Mexican restaurant next door.

Had a lovely happy hour here! Lots of beers on tap and wines. Great selection! Fun place to bring your dog too! It was clean and well kept! The bartender was helpful and friendly too! I definitely recommend Hair of the Dog!!

Perfect place for beer, wine, and coffee lovers who love chillin with their dogs! You’ll walk in and get the good vibes from the staff and the cozy atmosphere. Local snacks for purchase and beers on tap so you can spend some time playing the board games in the corner. We appreciate the availability of non-dairy milk for coffee drinks. Food is allowed in so bring it in or have it delivered. Looking forward to seeing them thrive in the neighborhood!

I enjoyed this dog friendly and relaxing beer, wine and coffee space. Even got to pet a few dogs. They have a great draft and can selection and tasty snacks. They have food trucks on occasion and you are welcome to bring in food also.
