Had a wonderful experience at JJ Sandwich! I had actually left the store as there didn’t seem to be a vegetarian options and the server was unable to customize the sandwich the way I wanted. But just as I was walking away, Ms. Irina came running after me to understand my request. I was pleasantly surprised by her kindness and willingness to help. She prepared a delicious vegetarian sandwich exactly as I wanted.
Truly appreciate Ms. Irina for going the extra mile — this is what real customer service looks like! Kudos to her and the team at JJ Sandwich.

ATTN management: please teach the young lady who was working on May 2, 2025 how to properly make a sandwich. The way they put the ingredients on their sandwich made it seem like they need the food that’s in the store to get them through the war for the next six months. I added photos of my sandwich versus the image of the Cubano that they advertise with online. Quite a stark difference, and they forgot my pickles. Sad day. The girl who was working sort of smiled at me, and the bathroom with clean, and my sandwich tasted good, hence some stars, but definitely had to deduct stars for the most disappointing Jimmy John’s sandwich I’ve ever had and warn people that if they are hungry, go elsewhere.

Unfortunately this was one of the worst worse sandwich purchases, briefly no dressings no flavor and few ingredients. I have changed my route to trust the brand but for the price I paid it has the same low quality sandwich as current subways. I hope it can be better in future but for now no.

i’ve gone ordered inside once and i just did delivery today. both times my food was how i i ordered it, fresh, and was ready in a timely manner!! i work down the street so i did delivery for lunch. after i ordered it, it was here within 15 minutes! the drink was wrapped in a plastic wrap to keep it from spilling as well. the only thing i didn’t like was that my cup was mostly ice

The delivery was very quick. I tried the new Firecracker Wrap and it was so good! I always thought Jimmy Johns was just OK, but this was flavorful and so good even though I did not eat it for about 30 minutes after I got it. It has a great kick to it. I would definitely order it again and I also want to try their Jalapeno Chicken Ranch Wrap next.
My mom also enjoyed her sandwich, #10 Hunter’s Club. She said she just wish it had more mayo.
P.S. it’s just the angle of the picture that makes one half look smaller. It was a good size wrap and I was stuffed after!

Considering the downtown location of a popular chain, I was not expecting it to be clean inside but the common areas and bathroom were pretty clean. The food was normal Jimmy John’s, pretty good, nothing amazing.

Meh. I’ve been to a bunch of JJ’s all over the place. They are usually a bit better than Blimpie or Subway.
Except this one.
First, the prices are higher than the ones I go to in NC. Is Richmond more expensive than Durham?
They pretty much ignored all the customization in my order like no mayo.
And failed to put all the regular ingredients on my sandwich.
Its the only JJ’s around here so Im just deleting the app. I dont see any reason to go back.
Went back last week to give them a second chance.
When I got there 20 minutes after I placed my order it wasnt made. They made a big deal about not noticing it but I could clearly see the tag waiting on the prep counter. When I got my sandwich a couple minutes later it was short on ingredients. Do you see any avocado? Its just tomato, cheese lettuce and cucumber. No mustard because JJs doesnt offer anything but childrens yellow mustard now. No mayo because I thought I was getting avocado. Not worth it at half the price.

This review is for City Dog’s next door on Cary St. Anyway, I’ve already had three different dogs here in the 5 weeks I’ve lived downtown and each one was uniquely delicious. The Original Chicago Vienna Beef Dog is my favorite with the peppers and tomato. These dogs really pop, so good!
