I used to like Jimmy John’s, it’s quick and convenient, and not too expensive. It’s easy to customize your sandwich, which I always do. I’ve got a lettuce allergy. It’s nothing major, I won’t die or anything, but it will ruin the rest of my day.
Unfortunately, it seems they just ignore any customization you do to your sandwich. Tons of lettuce…it’s basically a lettuce sandwich, and there was no mustard either. I ended up just giving it to someone at work rather than trying to pick off all those tiny shreds of lettuce. This isn’t the only time this has happened, it’s pretty frequent. But when they get the sandwiches right, they’re good.

Sorry, Jimmy Johns. Not fast, just freaky.
As a regular patron of the Jimmy Johns in Severna Park, I had the worst experience ever at a drive through today. Ordered 2 Beach Club meals, waited at least 10 minutes at the window after paying, and was given two sandwiches with the wheat bread squished so much that each half was only about an inch wide. Worst of all, no turkey on either sandwich, only cheese. So I drove back around and went inside. I was told by my sandwich maker that I’d “have to wait a while” because he had many orders in front of me. Really? My order was in front of theirs, you just screwed it up. I had waited long enough, so I asked for a full refund which I was given, and kept the drinks for my inconvenience. When we got home, my wife discovered a piece of their soda machine at the bottom of her drink (see photo). Wow.

Our first time having JJ sandwich. My husband went in to order. After he saw prices he just ordered for me. Sandwich prepared by young guy. On receipt says Brandon. He made sandwich and handed to my husband. No bag, so my husband asked if he had a bag. A woman told him the sandwich number, name. My husband asked about drink and Brandon pointed. I looked in bag but no napkin. My husband couldn’t find them. The meat is good, so much lettuce the meat rolls off. We had heard good food and service. Will go back to local shop in MVL

Either hire more people or take away the drive-through & delivery. Slowest service I’ve experienced at any Jimmy John’s. It was the lunch rush, but still… the opposite of Freaky Fast.

So here’s the thing, just take delivery off your site. We waited almost two hours, made 3 calls about getting our food. We decided to cancel the order but Uber eats dropped it off. The order was incorrect with items missing. This is not the first time we have had difficulties with this JJ. I drove the food back (after 2 hours we didn’t need it). Explained we called and canceled it and it was missing items. Kids working there just stared blankly and said the Manager would need to refund our money tomorrow. Let’s see if we get our money back! Please take delivery as an option away.

Love JJs. Food is always good and the drive-thru service usually fast. I do, however, pass them by if there’s more than 3-4 cars in line. Funny recent experience. The drive-thru guy went over our order 3Xs. Each time, he specifically confirmed that I didn’t want cucumbers. Bit into my sandwich as I drove down Rt. 2; cucumbers. After the initial mutter of disappointment, I just chuckled.

This is the slowest jimmy John’s I’ve ever been to. We ordered subs here a few times and each time, it is painfully slow and the service is terrible. No eye contact when ordering the food, no acknowledgment you walked in (which you could stand waiting for 10 mins before placing an order). And don’t even try changing the sub. It’ll just get messed up.

Tried Jimmy John’s for the first time with delivery to my office up the street. Sub was equivalent to the other chain sub shop thats everywhere…. Nothing set them above the other one… Not horrible but nothing great.. just the same old same old.. Skimpy on the meat was the first thing that caught my attention..
