Came to Jimmi’s with some high expectations based on previous reviews and it did not disappoint. The staff are so friendly and passionate about the food they serve it was genuinely one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Canada. Jimmy‘s Italian is my favourite restaurant in Napanee. Super clean and comfortable atmosphere, not to mention great service. Every dish we have experienced so far has been phenomenal. My wife loves the place too. Our server was really friendly, very professional and personable. I will be back 100%. Every time I’m on 401 between Toronto and Ottawa or Montreal I will stop by. Highly recommended if you enjoy home made pasta or just real meal. You won’t be disappointed.

This is my absolute favorite Italian place. So much so that I printed a menu and have been crossing items off as I try them. I have not had one bad item. (Full disclosure: Seafood is off limits for me due to allergy). The staff is always pleasant and friendly. The only downside is that the dining room is a bit small, awesome for that bistro feel, but there can be a wait when it’s busy. But that just gives us time to make new friends while we wait. There is something about the place that has perfect strangers talking like long time friends about the food. P.S. Do the giant mozzarella sticks as a starter!

These days, it feels like most restaurants are cutting corners—higher prices, smaller portions, and food quality that just isn’t what it used to be. But this place? Every dish we ordered was full of flavor, fresh, and clearly made with care. It’s rare to find a spot that delivers this level of quality without charging crazy prices, but they’ve nailed it.
A huge shoutout to our server, Rebecca, who absolutely made our experience even better. We came in with four kids (never easy!), and she was unbelievably patient, attentive, and always available whenever we needed anything. She never made us feel rushed, and she handled everything with a smile and genuine kindness. Servers like her are hard to find and deserve all the credit!
If you’re tired of overpriced restaurants with mediocre food and service, this is the place you need to try. They’re doing everything right, and we’ll definitely be coming back!

Chicken Caesar was delicious. Dressing had great flavour and chicken was seasoned well and very tender.
Very large portion for the chicken parm. We’re not sure if it was two chicken breasts or one piece cut in half but it’s a sharable dish. We took half home.
We’ve had this dish and other restaurants and the chicken has always been on top of a bed of noodles. At Jimmi’s the noodles were in top of the chicken. Not sure why it came this way, my partner said his dish was upside down We would still order it again.
The kids chicken parm is a large portion. I personally found the sauce a bit watery, I would have preferred a thicker sauce, but I’m not the one who ate it.
Kids enjoyed the mac and cheese. It’s not the best that we’ve had but they were pleased.
Service was quick and kind.
Restaurant was clean.
Could have done without the techno music – didn’t really seem to fit.

Unpaid Background Character
We had two fantastic dinners here on back-to-back nights this weekend, and it is the spot to dine at if you’re passing through Napanee!
The selection is awesome (highly recommend the arancini and brownie in particular), the drinks were great, and the service was greater still!
A big shout out to Chris and Cody(?) (so sorry if thats not his name)–their service was exceptional!

Reviews of this place were pretty good. I thought it was pretty good, just fell a little short.
Service was amazing, fast and good value. Place is nice. Really clean and comfortable. Feels a bit out of place in the chain building but still nice.
Slightly disappointed with the food. Very slightly. I’d rather have smaller portions of food and more flavor.
Arancini were good, but the red sauce with it was cold.
Cacio peppe certainly had to have creme sauce and not just the melted cheese and pasta water.
Nonna’s in the garden was also pretty good.

We had the classic tomato soup and the weekend features: Creamy Pesto Bacon & Broccoli Fettuccine and Braised Beef Eggs Benny. Everything was delicious and fresh. Local beers were great, and our server, Nicole, was wonderful!
