We were passing through town and saw the big smoker in the front of Jimmers restaurant and knew we had to stop and try it! They smoke everything except the chicken – that is grilled. I got the BBQ Reuben with the smoked turkey and it was so yummy! Also finished dinner with their homemade ice cream which was fantastic! The service, prices and atmosphere were great! I recommend!

Update: Came back a few days later and the service was MUCH better and the food was still delicious.

Food was delicious! Lots of patio seating, dog-friendly.

Service was a bit off. Requested a cocktail but was told someone else would need to come out and get my drink order, but after two requests that didn’t happen. Some of the food came out cold but they were happy to remedy that by making a fresh dish.

First time eating here. The place was very busy and clean. I ordered the pulled pork and baked beans with potato salad. I made a great choice! The meat was tender and juicy and their house BBQ sauce was delicious. I would recommend travelers to stop by and eat here when in Montrose Colorado!

I had the 2 Bone Ribs, with side orders of slaw & fries. Ribs were good. Slaw was good. Fries were fries, nothing special. Their bbq sauce was good. Service was top notch. Next time I’m in Montrose and when I’m not in a hurry – I’ll have to try more items.

Delicious comfort food! No wait to be seated and food comes out EXTREMELY quick. We’ve been twice for dinner within a month. You will not be disappointed! Pot Roast Special (pictured) and Loaded Mac & Cheese was outstanding. Dessert was good too (peach cobbler) and service is great. I will be coming here every time I come to Montrose, which is 2 or 3 times a month. It’s that good!

What an unsatisfactory experience. $150 dollar meal and not one bite was acceptable. The burn ends dried out and tough….brisket was tough also…..the sausage was edible….barely ….and hot to my tongue ….th3 mashed potatoes were questionable and the gravybwas a concealed glob with absolutely no flavor…….thr macaroni and cheese have been edible if it was not cold…….rhr ribs had absolutely no flavor whatsoever although they were at least tender fall off thr bone as they shoukd have been…..too bad they missed the train to flavor town. As we had our meal takeout we were given the cheapest utensils with the fork being too flimsy to even scoop out mashed potatoes never mind trying to pick up a piece of meat with it. Thr service left much to be desired and now I am questioning my sanity as I am out on $150 dollars and feel ill atm and know I will feel the empty void in my stomach shortly and wish I woukd have opted for McDonald’s as I have had much more satisfying meals there and for a heck of a lot less money.

Go here!!! The food and service are amazing. Server Caleb and manager Maggie are just awesome. The smoked prime rib and brisket sandwiches are great, as are the kids meals. We didn’t have anything bad. Great atmosphere and food. You won’t go wrong here.

Not all bad, but not good either. Yet another letdown in my search for good BBQ in Colorado. Brisket dry. Turkey dry. Pulled pork was decent. Potato salad was good. “Cornbread” was Jiffy type variety. Maybe one day I’ll find that Goldilocks of BBQ here, but it was not this day.
