Staff is very friendly and my meal was delicious.

I ordered some steak tacos and they were fantastic. Since I didn’t order anything else, I can’t vouch for the rest of the menu.

It’s not a fancy place, but feels cozy. There are 2 flat screen TVs. One by the bar and the other in the dining area.

Wheelchair access available at the rear entrance.

Overall, this place is great and I will definitely dine there again.

The fried icecream was fresh and by far the best I’ve ever tried. VERY FRIENDLY STAFF!!! The chips were the best! They were homemade right off the pan. I liked my beef burrito and I tried a steak taco. The steak is very tender. I don’t like steak tacos but for those of you who do I tried it and the meat is tender.

This is in the top three of the worst meals I’ve ever had. The chips and salsa were the best part of the meal, if this has to have a “best,” and the salsa was probably from a can. The chicken fajita was shredded and saturated with either broth or plain water. Fajitas are cooked on a skillet. They are dry, hot, have flavor, and are in chunks or strips. I’m not going to continue but that was just one main dish out of four and the other three were just as disappointing. I love Oregon and spend a lot of time there but I will not be visiting your “restaurant” in the future.

My boyfriend & I absolutely loved their steak tacos. The meat was the most tender that I’ve ever had. The staff is very friendly, too! I look forward to coming back the next time we pass through town.

Good food great ideas, one thing you have to admire is the willingness to b original. The new decor is cozy, relaxing as the bar now faces the window, awesome mood and ambiance.
I’m bias, it’s my brother in law.

Spent an hour there yesterday. Only had 15 minutes to eat though because it took 45 minutes to get our food.
Water was a luke warm water bottle that cost $1.25 and I spend $8 for a “bacon cheeseburger burito” that was mostly rice with some ground hamburger, a strip of bacon, and one pickle.

In response to the owner. The water at a gas station is also refrigerated. Also my party of 7 arrived at 11 in the morning and we were the only people in the restaurant when we got there.

For a place out in the middle of nowhere (Oregon Illinois, population 3800), they have great Tacos and some ingenious Mexican dishes. Try their Steak Taco Rolls. Need a better beer selection.

The prices are reasonable, the food was good and the beer was cold. Taco Stans is a nice place to stop for a quick bite and a cold drink. It’s not a very big place but it’s kid friendly and clean. Nice little restaurant !

Steak discontinued… no cilantro.. salsa from a jar.. chicken fajitas were wet and sloppy.
Pico de gallo is easy to make from scratch and adds an authentic touch to a “taco joint” . I’m from a predominantly Hispanic area and this is not Mexican food.
