We recently moved to Seaside Heights, NJ and have been attempting to try every place around for food and drinks. While I have been to Jimbos before, I have never tried their food.
Today I went there during a beautiful sunny day and tried just a couple of things off their menu.
First was their pretzel appetizer that came with a beer cheese sauce and two other mustard type sauces for dipping. It was actually quite good with the beer c cheese sauce taking the win.
I was in the mood for breakfast so I order a pork roll/Taylor ham, egg and cheese sandwich which i added bacon to make it a true gut buster sandwich. It was cooked well and I had no complaints at all.
For drinks, we ordered Bloody Mary’s and they were good. I wouldn’t say they were over the top special, but definitely tasty.
The service was really good and our bartender was friendly and always made sure we were good and needed nothing.
So far I can recommend Jimbos as the experience was really good. I am sure I will be back many times throughout the summer and I will post more as I try new things there.

Sarah and George did a great job last night. There was a mix up on my order and George took care of it very quickly; great customer service. Sarah is great as well and is one of the best bartenders I have had the pleasure to be served by. She is attentive and ensures the customer is always taken care of. Jimbos is a little out of my way but this bar and grill is like Cheers and will continue to visit.

Great vibes at Jimbos! The cheese balls and peel and eat shrimp are top tier. Shout out to our server Alex. He was very helpful and friendly! Music was great and drinks rocked too.

It’s preseason time, so menus are light. Everyone is always friendly and accommodating. Great place to bring the whole family. Has street side and boardwalk seating with a bar inside. Food is good. The pub pretzels were enjoyable and come with 3 dips. Servings are on the larger side. We got 1/2lb cheeseburge,I recommend asking for extra cheese because it comes with 1 slice that is smaller than the burger, almost non existent cheese slice. Burger was well done, I’m more of a medium rare person. Sweet potato fries were good. Bloody Mary was good. Poork cool egg cheese sandwich had plenty of pork roll, was yummy.

Amazing place all together, the food and drinks are always amazing and the service is speedy, the prices can be a little high depending on what you order but it’s totally worth it honestly. The service is a little slow when they first open but otherwise then that its fast! The music can get a little loud, also if you really like fries (like me :)) this is a great place to get some fries, the “old bay fries” are good but very spicy, my personal favorite is the fresh cut fries. Highly recommend this place. Always have to come here when in vacation lol.

The best thing we ordered was the butterfly fries. Wish they had a little more trifle oil but pretty good.
We tried a variety of things at our table. Fish and chips, sliders, salads, pork sandwiches. Everything was ok. Wish we would have just grabbed something from one of the smaller places because they smelled a lot better than what we got.

Extremely over priced food. BEWARE! The establishment will charge you extra without your knowledge. I went there a few months back. Ordered a pizza. 2 kids meals and an appetizer, pretzels. That was about 60 ish dollars. Tipped $10 in cash, was shown one amount on a receipt which I gave my card to the waitress. After leaving, I noticed the amount charged to my card was more than what I signed for. I ended up going back as I was still on the boardwalk. I spoke to the woman standing there and her first response was well you didn’t tip??? I said I did, with cash. Thank you. Then their story changed. Oh you had a party of 5 and we charge gratuity or something for that she said. So I looked at my boyfriend and 2 daughters, a total of 4 people and said no. That’s definitely not it. They ended up refunding me which I had to wait days for. Long story short the business is shady!!!!!!!! Beware of what you’re being charged after going here.

This place was just ok for me. We originally picked it because it was not playing any live music at the time. Don’t get me wrong I love live music, but sometimes I just need a break. The moment we ordered they started blasting!! the tvs. There was a game on so I get it, but I was just so disappointed. We were looking for something small so we each ordered a drink (we both enjoyed) and truffle parm fries (I did not enjoy these at all). Our server was really friendly and tried to make it a point to talk to us and other tables he was tending to.
